My opinion is that this book contains the prequel comics from G. I. Joe : Rise Of Cobra. Hold on, wait... Flint? Nah! Not a movie book then.
Very similar to Transformers: Tales Of The Fallen.

Aw, crap! Ya know I totally forgot to go back and read that prose work in the back of the second Cobra Special. (Which was awesome, btw.) I got myself all wrapped up in the LeCarre classic "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy". I'll hav e to make time to go back and read it this weekend. If I like it, I'll definitely pick this up.
I've been thinking that someone should do a series of Novels, or Novellas centered around the Crimson Guard. Each book could be titled "Fred (insert roman numeral)" and be the story of that Fred's infiltration of our society. His cover, and how he completes his mission. Hell, if I ever stop reading, and start writing maybe I'll submit some. lol
