Can't wait for Storm Shadow's pre-order to go up!

Storm Shadow looks even better. I can't wait to see the booth myself.

For me personally, the Sideshow stuff is soooo easy to pass on. They look like lazily thrown-together customs. Totally inaccurate. I understand that they are "interpretations" and not direct copies of the characters, but still. There is nothing about that figure that says "Storm Shadow" to me. Everything about the outfit is wrong, especially the camo. Just looks totally lazy to me.
The first SS and Snake Eyes were closer; at least you knew who they were supposed to be! The last Snake Eyes with Timber looked terrible and I feel bad for my fellow collectors that shelled out so much cash for it.
Sorry to be so negative. I'll be spending my money on other stuff.

that storm shadow is based on v2 do a little search and you'll see that its quite accurate actually

Oh, there was a version 2 of Storm Shadow? I had no idea....I have never researched anything about GI Joe....please tell me more!!
No please, tell me what's so accurate about it. Is it cause it's got a hood? I guess that's accurate.
Is it the camo pattern? No, that's just some generic camo...not like the geometric pattern on the 1988 figure.
Is it cause he has the new gi with his bare arms showing his tattoo? Huh...no....there's some weird forearm armor on this. That's not very accurate.
Well, I guess I'm just not seeing it. I must not be as familiar with the v2 Storm Shadow as an expert like you.
KINGOFNOD5 says
all I'm hearing is a MODERN TAKE ON STORM-SHADOW!!! NOT ON MY WATCH.
He looks great and I really hope Hasbro is looking at him and Destro for ques to take after the movie line.

The raised eyebrow on Destro is kind of weird. Something about CC is a little off to me as well. I WANT to like these, but at the price they are I feel like they should knock my socks off. I think the Baroness looks pretty good though.
Regardless, I'm happy Sideshow can continue to make these for the collectors that want them.
