This figure has been on my radar since it's initial reveal as concept figure: It's awesome. So glad to he's finally being released but, waiting another 5 days for the release date is killing me!

I really like that beachhead! Hopefully he matches the comic pack masked head! I really prefer that one over this. Looks like a good army builder figure too,a woodland SE! Lol

Hate, hate, hate the turtleneck on Flint. The figure is an awesome figure, but why the friggin' turtleneck?! Flint with a wide open collar is the way to go. Sorry, I know that is purist talk, but it just throw it all off for me. Probably get it anyhoo....

I've been really digging the idea of getting a brown VAMP and that original colors Flint, but now I'm suddenly finding I like the non-SDCC version Flint better. Maybe it's a little bit of burn-out. I mean, we've been there, done that with Flint. I'd still rather have a brown VAMP and not have to paint the "urban" VAMP, but whatever, I can live with a gray VAMP. In the end, to me, I suppose it just isn't worth the hassle of trying to buy the SDCC set.
I find I've become increasingly anti-hassle when it comes to this shit. I've intentionally limited my "customs" to LBC/no muss, no fuss mods, and I certainly don't enjoy having to jump through hopes just to buy a toy. Either I can buy it like any other consumer good, or I don't buy it all. After more than a decade of buying this stuff as an adult, I'm done with wasting time on the aspects of it that aren't fun.

But I do agree with you. I went browsing through YoJoe.com just now, and the last collared-shirt torso without some kind of undershirt showing was actually the 25th Flint one! I could have sworn there was a later one--but not that I could find.
What frustrates me most is the damn sleeves. Now I KNOW there are more recent rolled sleeves that could have been used, more appropriate for Flint.
