The G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary figures are trickling out to fans from shared-exclusive retailer and sponsor Big Bad Toy Store. HissTank is happy to start the high res galleries for these figures tonight with the “Eagle’s Edge” three pack, featuring Leatherneck, Hawk, and Destro. The Destro pulls cues from the Vault figure seen at Joecon a couple years ago, so it’s nice to finally be able to get a hold of him.
Check out our shots after the break and feel free to share your pics over on the forums!

I've had that Leatherneck on my radar since Hasbro introduced it in their Concept Case and I'm excited to finally have it. I bought the Club's Mission Brazil Leatherneck on the secondary market becuase it was a more accurate ARAH version that what Hasbro had released at retail but, upon this sculpt becoming available, I immediately sold the Mission Brazil figure to be replaced with this one. It's a tremendous improvement over any other version. Also, so much of the 25th line uses the same style formula so, these updated sculpts- the style, the size, the parts, etc. from the 30th, Renegades and Retaliation lines help differentiate and set the characters from apart from the others of the 25th style. Rather than every character looking the same style we get some variety.
I liked this updated Destro when it was revealed in the Concept Case too- but, I didn't realize how awesome he really is. I'd like to see the Club use this sculpt for a Gold Head Leopard Print Destro! That would be P.I.M.P.

Not having my Retaliation figs with displayed with my 25th/me/ARAH remake figs, I never realized how big that Battle Kata Roadblock torso was. As a result, Leatherneck just towers over his 1986 classmates, perfect for the good old jar head. Destro is awesome. Love the update, but like others have said, his knees are really small and I thought they were gonna break. But once I got him on the stand, he felt tons more stable. Hawk is great just like he was 3 or 4 years ago. Just have to figure what to do with him.

I saw the 3 packs and 2 packs at Toys R Us, and there are some serious paint app QC issues. Great figures, but everyone I purchased will need some type of paint touch-up.
