3DJoes has put together yet another amazing profile on one of the forefathers of G.I.Joe, this time based on Mr. Ron Rudat. Ron Rudat was THE figure designer behind G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. From the rebirth of G.I. Joe in 1982 until he moved off of the brand in 1986, every figure sprung from his mind onto the page. He also designed several vehicles, vehicle decals, books, and the timeless Cobra logo. Ron will be inducted into the Toy Collectors Hall of Fame in Las Vegas Nevada on February 28th, 2015. Ron is the first G.I. Joe inductee and is well deserving of the honor!
Did you know that more than one G.I.Joe character has Ron’s name, or a variation of it? Well, head on over to the Ron Rudat Creator Profile Page where you can learn a whole lot more! Once there you can check out some amazing artwork, read about the entire design, creation and manufacturing process and of course, listen to some fantastic audio footage of Ron being interviewed!

Holy crap that's a time consuming process you have there, but what a great resource. Thank you for creating this and the time cost of doing it.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for the support. Really, it means a lot. Please bookmark the home page and check back often for updates. I've been rolling out new content weekly, and hope to keep that pace up.
It is indeed time consuming, and a little pricey, but it's been my goal to complete the collection and then find a way to share it. I was considering a brick-n-mortar store for a while, as well as a traveling exhibit. Hell, I drug $30,000 worth of AFA/MOC figures down to JoeCon in New Orleans just to share. Then, I found the 3D photography technique and decided the web was the best way to share 'em. So again, thanks for the support and be sure to check back weekly!

I'll totally use it for reference on my customs. The BEST part is that you have them all geared up right off the bat. I'm not sure why all the other reference sites insist on striping them down naked as the first picture you see.
