Carson from 3DJoes stopped by to share the scoop on a new poll now open on his site! It’s almost time to kick off The Collecting the Art of G.I.Joe: Volume 2 (1984-1985). Alongside the next volume, 3DJoes will also be pffering two new posters – with the U.S.S. Flagg on one and the rest of the 1984-1985 vehicles on another. Now, as far as the poll goes, here’s where you come in!
3DJoes wants to know the following – Would you rather have:
- Option 1: A life-sized USS Flagg Poster (roughly 44” x 31.5” with a .5” border all the way around)
- Option 2: A 24″ x 36″ poster to match the rest of the 3DJoes Poster Collection of Carded Figure & Vehicle Posters
Both options will cost $20. According to the offered measurements, Option 1 will be HUGE, whereas option 2 will match the other posters and be easier to find an off-the-shelf frame. The choice is yours! Cast your vote in the U.S.S. Flagg poll today, over on the 3DJoes homepage: 3DJOES – Home
Polls will be closed October 11th and the Volume 2 Kickstarter will launch the following week (this will get the new books/posters to you just in time for Christmas). What option are you going to vote for? Let us know after the break!

Holy crap that's a time consuming process you have there, but what a great resource. Thank you for creating this and the time cost of doing it.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for the support. Really, it means a lot. Please bookmark the home page and check back often for updates. I've been rolling out new content weekly, and hope to keep that pace up.
It is indeed time consuming, and a little pricey, but it's been my goal to complete the collection and then find a way to share it. I was considering a brick-n-mortar store for a while, as well as a traveling exhibit. Hell, I drug $30,000 worth of AFA/MOC figures down to JoeCon in New Orleans just to share. Then, I found the 3D photography technique and decided the web was the best way to share 'em. So again, thanks for the support and be sure to check back weekly!

I'll totally use it for reference on my customs. The BEST part is that you have them all geared up right off the bat. I'm not sure why all the other reference sites insist on striping them down naked as the first picture you see.
