Last weekend we brought you an update from Toy-Gear on the inclusion of a special free gift that will be included for the first 50 backers of the project – Each will get (1) sheet of professionally printed heavy card stock backing for every 4 trays ordered (Reward level 3 & up). Included in that update was word that G.I.Joe A Real American Hero 1982-1985 and 1986 onward Explosions styles were coming our way soon…
We’ve just received another update from vallen and the team showing off the new explosion styles and they are awesome! It’s like card art in 3D! You can check out the Kickstarter Campaign here, which FYI is already funded with 2 weeks yet to go!
We’ve mirrored the images here for you to review, so make sure to check’em out after the break and get in on the discussion already in progress!

Not to be a downer but doesn't this seem sub-optimal? The defacto standard people here got me using was the tackle boxes and it seems like they hold as much or more and for $4 less a case, what am I missing?

Hey there…I think some of the differences between our product and a tackle box are:
-there are no display options for a tackle box,
-our compartments offer neutral padded protection (purpose built for figures),
-our product is easily stackable when storing,
-and lastly ours are a much lighter option.
The latter helps at toy shows if you are a dealer and have to haul loads of boxes around. For more info, please check out our site at Toy-Gear Action Figure Archival Trays For Display For Storage and feel free to message us anytime with more questions!

It's nice to see someone else display their Joes as they appeared on the card art!
I tried to do that the best I could with mine when I had them out on display, but for now they are all "sleeping" in baggies in storage bins... =(
