Bombstrike, awesome! And Duke had a wife? Very interesting.
The Delta says
Is Duke's wife supposed to be Shooter or am I just imagining that?

BOMBSTRIKE!!! I'm a little behind on this particular series. Is this the first she's been shown in this comic? And what about her brothers. Do they play a role in this series as well? I though the Hama series stayed away from newer joes.
If this was the IDW relaunch universe, I'd be worried she was just included to be killed off but Hama doesn't really do that, right? Definitely catching up on this book now and super excited to see her finally appear in comics in a meaningful kind of way.

Hama HAS been including crossover characters. But he ALSO uses new characters to kill off. While Pale Peony was HIS character from another comic, he DID bring her in and then promptly killed her off.

This is the first official appearance of Bombstrike in any continuity that I know of (she may have been seen briefly in DDP's "WWIII" saga). In the RAH universe, she has appeared before either of her brothers!

No spoiler, but...huge reveal at the end of this issue! Pretty cool twist, if you ask me.
Hint: G. I. Joe Declassified

What the hell is wrong with the coloring? HORRIBLE.
Very cool to see Bombstrike though. Guess they felt the GIJOE logo on her shirt would be too on the nose.

In hand the coloring is not at all like it is on your monitor. Well at least on my monitor.
J. Brown did his usual bang up job on Gallant's pencils another reason sometimes hard copies are so much better than digital.
I am eager to see what the siegies do next issue. I have my own thoughts, but with recent events in the real world, who knows what we will see.

I am VERY excited about Bombstrike's appearance. Larry really does listen to his fans. If you liked what you saw, and feel like it, e-mail the letter page, [email protected] re: g.i. joe 220 and print in the letter okay to print. i am all about utilizing the underrated era of joe (2000-present) and want larry to know this inclusion was a positive for myself. the more that agree and tell him, the more chance this trend will continue.
