Our friends at Toy-Gear shared some exciting news with us – Their 1986 G.I.Joe explosion style card backers have been added to their Action Figure Archival Tray Kickstarter Campaign! With less than a week to go, if you’ve been telling yourself “I’ll do it later”….well you’re almost out of later!
Also, Due to your wonderful suggestions, Toy-Gear has decided to do their first two “Add-Ons” which feature their popular printed inserts! For those of you who would like more than the provided inserts or if you missed out on that offer, this is an excellent option. Toy-Gear will be coming up with additional insert styles and designs over the next few months ahead of when your rewards ship, so you have lots of options and time to choose the designs you want. If there is something you would like please ask and they’ll do our best to provide it.

Not to be a downer but doesn't this seem sub-optimal? The defacto standard people here got me using was the tackle boxes and it seems like they hold as much or more and for $4 less a case, what am I missing?

Hey there…I think some of the differences between our product and a tackle box are:
-there are no display options for a tackle box,
-our compartments offer neutral padded protection (purpose built for figures),
-our product is easily stackable when storing,
-and lastly ours are a much lighter option.
The latter helps at toy shows if you are a dealer and have to haul loads of boxes around. For more info, please check out our site at Toy-Gear Action Figure Archival Trays For Display For Storage and feel free to message us anytime with more questions!

Our friends from Toy-Gear just sent an update on the aforementioned explosion style backer for the Foam Trays. It's like card art in 3D! Check it out -

It's nice to see someone else display their Joes as they appeared on the card art!
I tried to do that the best I could with mine when I had them out on display, but for now they are all "sleeping" in baggies in storage bins... =(
