Hasbro, Inc. has submitted a very intriguing name to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Submitted over the weekend, HasCon is currently the newest and soon to be most talked about trademark amongst Transformers and G. I. Joe fans.
Trademark Description:
“Organizing and conducting conventions, exhibitions, fan clubs and gatherings for entertainment purposes and in the fields of toys, animation, comic books, fantasy, gaming, popular culture, science fiction, television and film”
This news comes just a few days after the conclusion of BotCon 2016, which would be the “last” BotCon under current licensee FunPublicaitons. Fans have been speculating for well over a year now what the fate would be of the official Transformers convention and G. I. Joe convention. Does HasCon represent the next official con for not just Joe fans, but a gathering of all of Hasbro’s main properties?
Let’s hear your theories in the discussion thread. Hat tip to TFwiki for the trademark filing.

Was going over my club renewal and came across this at the end of the page:
Please note that at this time we are only accepting memberships and renewals for the 2016 calendar year. All memberships will end with the December 2016 issue. For example: if your membership renewal has a February start date, you will receive the FREE membership figure in the late spring along with 11 monthly issues. If your membership renewal has a March start date, you will receive the FREE membership figure in the late spring and 10 monthly issues.
Is the club going out of business?

So let me get this straight...Hasbro gives the Club their blessing to make the rest of the ARAH into ME form and then the Club closes their doors?

Hmmmm....Interesting. This may mean the club is at an end or it could just mean something stupid like the club is just resetting its fiscal year to Dec as opposed to whatever else it may be now. More insight would be greatly appreciated.
