A couple of years ago, the guys behind The Game Chasers were able to feast their eyes on the legendary collection of G.I.Joe historian, AireDevon. If you aren’t familiar with Aires name, then you will be now, as Aire’s collection is showcased in the video and needless to say, it’s one for the history books of G.I.Joe.
Not only are they at Aire’s place, but our own Sirt8669 makes an appearance and talks G.I.Joe! Make sure to check out the episode below, then join us after the break for discussion already in progress!

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet, but the Game Chasers posted a pretty epic GI JOE "Toy Chasers" episode. Pretty awesome! Check it out!

Yeah it's Airedevon's massive collection. Just caught the video. She's really nice. She cut those guys a great deal.

Is this a recent video? I thought she had sold a majority of her collection.

Just saw it. Not sure how the "price guy" figured Storm Shadow at $20...

An amazing collection for sure. It's cool the game chasers were able to film it. They definitely aren't die hard collectors though. If you watch the other Toy Chasers GI JOE episode, as well as this one, they have a hard time remembering names of figures and stuff. Still very cool.

Having been to Aire's house multiple times, she did have probably the largest collection of Joes ( not individual characters, but just in sheer volume) than anyone else.
That being said, she was very generous like the video shows. She gave me a mint Cobra trooper from Mexico the first time I was over there. I had wished I had the money to buy some of the stuff she had for sale at the time.
I will say, that whoever was doing the pricing, did not know what he was talking about. You can get most of those figures mint and complete for less than $20. The APC alone does only fetch about $15-$20. Rattler complete and mint about $30-$40. She is never out to gouge someone on pricing.. she just wanted to try and make some of her investment back.
It was sad to hear that she wouldn't be able to complete her books and was selling stuff, but I knew she was working on the vehicles book first with the intention to hurry and sell off her boxed items to make room.
All in all it was worth the watch for the humor aspect.

But Storm Shadow goes for much more, unless the condition was terrible (and it did not appear or sound so, based on the show)...

Some foundation should fund her just so that stuff can stay curated like a museum or something. It would be a dream to visit there and just like... volunteer to help organize stuff or something.

It's a little surprising she balked on selling some of those figs, because of the size of her collection, I assumed she had multiples of everything.

Do you know what the other toy chaser JOE episode was called?

They've only done four Toy Chaser episodes so far unfortunately since The Game Chasers is so popular and what they are known for. Hopefully they will do a lot more.
