3DJoes stopped by to share word with us of vehicle week over at 3DJoes.com! All of this week and through the weekend 3DJ will roll out the rest of the 1988-1989 Vehicles, one per day. So far this week, we’ve been treated to images of:
- 1989 G.I.Joe Arctic Blast – This two-wheeled behemoth is powered by a 225 HP LFV-30 turbodiesel engine and features 30 MM “Chain Gang” gatling guns and side-mounted avalanche-class “Cool Cruiser” surface to surface missiles.
- 1989 Cobra H.I.S.S. II – The Cobra H.I.S.S. II sports the familiar rotating gun turret of the original H.I.S.S., but with a tri-barreled cannon upgrade and new pivoting side guns and missiles. The cockpit is expanded to fit two figures, and the sliding rear compartment holds up to four more!
- 1989 Iron Grenadiers Darklon’s Evader – Darklon was the next in a long line of key Cobras sold with an alpha (or lower price point) vehicle. Like Zartan, Serpentor and Destro v2 before him, Darklon was a completely new sculpt with detailed paint apps, and he came with one heck of a gun. Darklon’s Evader features a “clam shell” styled canopy armed with two surface-to-surface missiles and two removable machine guns.
We’ll get to see another IG vehicle today, along with more vehicles throughout the course of the week, so make sure to keep it locked on 3DJoes and share your thoughts on vehicle week with us after the break!

Holy crap that's a time consuming process you have there, but what a great resource. Thank you for creating this and the time cost of doing it.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for the support. Really, it means a lot. Please bookmark the home page and check back often for updates. I've been rolling out new content weekly, and hope to keep that pace up.
It is indeed time consuming, and a little pricey, but it's been my goal to complete the collection and then find a way to share it. I was considering a brick-n-mortar store for a while, as well as a traveling exhibit. Hell, I drug $30,000 worth of AFA/MOC figures down to JoeCon in New Orleans just to share. Then, I found the 3D photography technique and decided the web was the best way to share 'em. So again, thanks for the support and be sure to check back weekly!

I'll totally use it for reference on my customs. The BEST part is that you have them all geared up right off the bat. I'm not sure why all the other reference sites insist on striping them down naked as the first picture you see.
