As an added bonus, I’m hoping to create a stretch goal to include a book sleeve to encompass the first 4 volumes! I cannot do this until the initial goal is met! Please spread the word around to people who would enjoy learning more about the history of their favorite characters and vehicles! Please help get this project funded today and details will follow!
After the break, check out what it will look like. The final version will have a unique design encompassing all 4 volumes!
The 4th round from the 5th wave of the G.I.Joe Collectors Club Figure Subscription Service has begun arriving on door steps. We won’t ruin the surprise for you, but if you’re curious as to who may be waiting in your mail box, then you can find out by joining us after the break.
**WARNING** – SPOILERS AHEAD!
The GI Joe Collector’s Club has announced 2017’s membership figure: Big Lob.
Big Lob is a former basketball player who speaks in sports commentator jargon. His real name is Bradley J. Sanders, and he was born in Chicago, Illinois.
Big Lob first appeared in G.I. Joe: The Movie, voiced by Brad Sanders. He is established as a member of the “Rawhides”, a group of new Joe recruits (including Chuckles, Jinx, Law & Order and Tunnel Rat) trained by Beach Head.
Big Lob had no action figure or comic book counterpart until 2010, when his figure became available as a G.I. Joe Club exclusive. He was listed as a reserve member of G.I. Joe during the America’s Elite comic series, and is seen on a map as having been deployed as part of the Joes’ efforts to battle Cobra Commander’s forces worldwide during the “World War III” storyline.

HissTank newcomer PlastikArmyMen posted up his beautiful POC inspired, scratch built Outpost Defender for our viewing and drooling pleasure.
The main structure is built with styrene plastic/bondene and the sandbags were painstakingly cut, filled, and sewn individually with materials that were on hand.
Following Hasbro’s designers, I was inspired by classic movies in the overall design of the outpost. I liked the modular look of Whiskey Outpost from Starship Troopers and the heavy duty feel of the raptor crates from Jurassic Park. From there, I blended certain design elements while maintaining the overall silhouette of the original Outpost Defender.
Sound off on this wonderful custom after the jump.
HissTank member Justus Prime dropped this magnificent custom Outback for all of us to drool over.
I really love outback and with some amazing customs out there I felt it was time to take some of my inspiration I got from all the guys in the community and add it to the wonderful head sculpt we recently received from FSS4.0. Hope you enjoy.
