Welcome to the official kick off to G.I. Joe Classified March Madness 2024 hosted by HissTank.com.
HissTank.com Board Members are invited to post your top 32 most wanted G.I. Joe and Cobra agents that have yet to made into G.I. Joe Classified action figures. There has been lots of talk about G.I. Joe and Cobra figures that people would prefer to be updated, while others prefer the classic look and feel of the ARAH designs.
This is your chance to tell Hasbro directly what versions of each figure you desire and what figures should take precedence in both design and desirability. We are asking board members to be specific when making your list of 32 for G.I. Joe Classified March Madness. If you want a POC designed over the classic design to be produced, note these character selections properly. No character is off the table!
We have had excellent success with our previous G.I. Joe March Madness winners for 25th Anniversary, Modern Era and G.I. Joe Classified figures because this list provides Hasbro with excellent direct market feedback. Every vote counts and we are asking everyone in the G.I. Joe Community to get involved! If there is a figure you want to see get produced let Hasbro know!
Use the thread attached to this news post to nominate 16 Cobra agents and 16 G.I. Joe team members to face off in our yearly G.I. Joe March Madness polls.
Before you make your list please check this news (G.I. Joe Classified Check List) post to view all of the up coming G.I. Joe Classified action figures that have been announced to-date.

It’s go time! Most of us have received our G.I. Joe Classified Series Haslab Cobra H.I.S.S. by now, but being that we are HISSTANK.com, I wanted to do up the gallery for this masterpiece the best I could. Came in mid December for me, and I left it out on the shoot table and did it little by little as I could during the holidays and into the new year. Almost a solid month of daily playing around with the piece. It went from standard gallery, to a Cobra staging base ready to launch an attack on G.I. Joe, to a Fire Team 788 set, then to a 2023 group shot (which is no joke, like 60+ figures), and then hey why not, group shots for the other years (thanks new mod DarthBrett!). And since my room looked like a Classified factory exploded at that point, some fun at the end (see inside).
So, read on to check out the HISSTANK.com in-hand gallery and thoughts for the G.I. Joe Classified Haslab H.I.S.S. Tank! (Warning, pic heavy post!)

Something fun today from international music superstar Wordburglar – a new music video called 1980 FORCE. The track and video is a homage the the O-ring goodness that was G.I. Joe in the 80s, poking fun (and celebrating) the fact that the line had massive amounts of characters with what now seems like very silly back stories tied to their codenames. TONS of custom O-ring figures are featured in the video, all with their own codenames and backstories, told through the lyrics. On top of this, all the customs were made by HISSTANK forum member Ozzie92, who actually met Wordburglar (burg on the forums) via HISSTANK years ago and have now collabed for this project.
Bottom line, great fun and worth a check, hit it below or at Youtube here! Make sure to check out his other tracks including Cobra themed Rap Viper!

A couple weeks back we launched a call to the community at large to share pics of your Cobra Troopers in all their variant forms with the intent to round them up and share them out a week later. Well, some IRL stuff hit and delayed that a little but today we are finally doing it up. We’ve rounded up pics by you guys and included some of our own to celebrate one of the most iconic characters in G.I. Joe lore – the Cobra Trooper. Read on to check out some of our shots, along with the community submissions. Thanks to everyone listed below on the HissTank forums and over on the Facebook thread for sharing. We hope to do another themed spotlight soon, stay tuned!

Today launches our test run of what hopefully becomes a regular feature here at HissTank.com! We’re asking all Tankers – on site and over on Facebook, to share your personal photos of any Classified Cobra Trooper! Doesn’t need to be pro, semi-pro, or any other level of skill, just share cool pics of any Cobra Trooper (Infantry, Officer, Valkyrie, etc) from G.I. Joe Classified. In one week, we’ll round up the best from those who tags us with @hisstank or #hisstank and includes a Trooper in their pic. We’ll share our own personal pics at that time as well.
For on site – you can share with us in the ongoing Classified Photo Thread. On social, you can tag us on Facebook here.
See you all in a week, and share them pics!

Extreme Sets have been banging out cardboard based Dioramas for a while now, starting with Wrestling themed ones and more recently moving into the Multiverse line that focuses on all genres. Waves 1 and 2 are out and you can check reviews for them over on Toyark. Up until now, these sets have been for 6/7 inch scale figures, so unless you were using it as a far away backdrop in photography, it didn’t really work for G.I. Joe and 3.75 figures. The Command Station set changes that. It is designed for 3.75 scale figures and is huge, spanning 2 stories at 16 inches tall, and roughly 60 inches wide depending on how you configure it all. It gives you an instant base for your Joes or Cobras for use in photography or just out on display with your collection. This is not specific to G.I. Joe either, so you can use it with any 1/18th scale line that you think it fits with.
We’ve done up a detailed set of pictures showing what it can do, so read on to check out over 45 HD images of the Joe team hanging out in their makeshift base!
Also of note: The fine folks at Extreme-Sets.com have given us a coupon code for a discount on your orders. Enter code TOYARK at checkout and get 10% off your order!
