Handytoy has put up new images of the upcoming G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra 5 packs exclusive to Toys ‘R’ Us. Each of these 5 packs includes 4 members of Joe or Cobra, with 1 member in each pack disguised as someone from the opposing team. The Joe set includes:
- Zartan in desert MP disguise
- Dial-Tone
- Repeater
- Law & Order
- Footloose
Meanwhile, the Cobra set includes:
- Duke in infiltration disguise
- Elite-Viper with attack dog
- M.A.R.S. Trooper
- M.A.R.S. Officer
- Neo-Viper

Those look great, but I'll wait for them to arrive at TRU.
The only real stand out is Infiltrator Duke,that's a nice use of Airborne parts.
The Joes are kind of bland, but they'll find good homes in my Joeverse. And can always use more Cobra Troops.
What's up with the pose on Footloose? He's looking a little uhm.. foot loose...
still a big old pass for me on both sets.
not to impressed with these repainted renamed figs...why is dailtone a chick? i'll prob pick these 2 TRU 5 packs up regardless for background characters, but what a bunch of crap!
When Gyre Viper posted the links to these earlier today, i offered Handytoy $55 for the Joe 5 pack, but he declined. I might still buy them, it works out £42.34 & £6.04 shipping for me at the current price.
Anyone know how much roughly these will be a retail?
Footloose looks like Dialtone and Dialtone is a chick... Now I'm all confused!
Is that a stocking cap with Duke? If so just add a set of goggles from comic pack Firefly, maybe a head...say chuckles? Instant Lowlight? What do y'all think?
