Your fellow HISS tanker speedocub made this custom G.I. Joe Skystriker Decepticon Thrust.

“The fans are from the TRU Laser Storm drop ship. I cut away what I needed around the housing and extended the original Sky Striker wings with Styrene. The Sky Striker wings are removed from the internal gears and set perpendicular to the hull and locked in place. I used milliput to seal up the gaps and assist with the bonding of the three wing components.”

    That looks WAAAYYYY better than i expected it too, combining the wings was a good idea. I wasn't sure when you said you were going to use those wings if they would look right, but they look great. Can you post the color and type of paint you used?

    Thanks, it was a challenge to combine those wing parts since the TRU storm is a softer plastic and the wing extension was done with sheet styrene filled with milliput.

    The Red is Satin finish Krylon Burgundy. The Grey is Rustoleum Metalic, dark metal...they don't label the can. Silver highlights are Krylon Bright Silver Metalic. All primed with Krylon primer.
