Starting last year, an exclusive set of Kre-O G.I.Joe figures has been offered by the G.I.Joe Collectors Club at the International G.I.Joe Collectors Convention. The Kre-O set has been based on it’s 4″ counterpart, with last year’s set being based on the Nocturnal Fire exclusive set.
This year’s set was based on the Zombie Initiative Exclusive set and included 7 Kre-O figures –
- ECO Force Flint
- ECO Force Clean Sweep
- ECO Force Ozone
- Joseph Colton
- Toxo-Zombie/Toxo-Viper x3
The figures re-use parts already released across the Kre-O Universe, including Battleship and Transformers.
Of note is the fact that both the the “Toxo Figure” has a head that has been painted on both sides – One side reflects a red faceplate for the Toxo-Viper, the other side painted with a snarling Zombie Face.
The same was done with Clean Sweep, giving him a mean looking mug on one side and a visor painted on the other to coincide with his hazmat uniform. The best part to me is the cool weapons rack that Joe Colton comes with. Included with the weapons pack is Megatron!
You can check out more images of the set and share your thoughts with us here on the Hisstank.com forums after the break.

Hey Gang,
Took some quick pictures of the JoeCon exclusive Zombie Initiative Set.
Here's a quick review:
The good - Really dig Ozone more than I thought I would; love, Love, LOVE the fact that Colton comes with Megatron! I also like the fact that the heads are painted on both sides of Clean Sweep & The Zombie/Viper head.
The Bad - Quality Control! One of my Zombies is/was missing a helmet, my Clean Sweep has a paint scratch on his face...argh!
The Ugly - Clean Sweep's mask doesn't really fit all that well.

Great Pics!
My biggest complaint is that they painted the backs of the heads instead of giving two separate heads for the Toxo Viper. The red visor just doesn't look right under the helmet since there is no chin.
I also like Ozone more than I thought. I didn't realize that gun is Megatron. Thanks for pointing that out. Great little addition.

My only gripe is that the Toxo Vipers all have one zombie arm. I don't want three Zombie Vipers. I suppose a little paint will take care of that.
I give the club props for making double sided heads.
The backpack on Clean Sweep in not familiar to me. What other kreons have it?

Still happy to get my set next week (hopefully next week...)

I love the megaton...that is a must have...
I heard they made a lot less of this years set...was it 500 or 600 only? that's pretty rare

Thanks so much for the detailed, clear photos of this set! I didn't realize the zombie heads were 2-sided. It looks funny without a helmet, but some Cityville heads will fill-in fine. And since customization is inherent in Kre-O, spare non-zombie arms for the ToxoVipers would've been really cool. But I like this set a lot; it makes the 2013 set look like a knock-off.

Awesome images. Good try on the Toxo Vipers, Club. They really needed extra left arms, though, if they are supposed to be both vipers and zombies. The chin gap is odd, but points for effort. Might have made more sense to do the red block on the front side and the back could have just had the top of the mouth at the bevel. Might have looked like the zombie was opening it's mouth.
Really weird backpack for the Toxo Zombies.
