Wow, I don't collect sideshow, but that is a sweet figure. Don't these usually come with an alternative head?
This one came with a Cobra Head Katana Sword.
he's definitely one of the best they've created
and how many freaking hands does he come with?? jeez I actually lost count.
it is a high quality figure. i don't care for the head though…

so i did this.
i was pleased with mine.
Just got mine last Friday. Did not regret the purchase, it is awesome!
One question, does it only come with the alternate hand holding a shuriken, or are more supposed to be included?
I'm all for new designs when it comes to figures, and the details on this are great...but when I look at it, I just don't see Storm Shadow. It's got all the pieces, but they just don't fit together or something to me.
The head is good if this was Storm Shadow v15, but with the exception of the Baroness and Battle Mask Cobra Commander, I don't know why Sideshow is having such a hard time getting the ARAH accuracy down lately. I know they are trying to capture both the GI Joe and Modern Military lines, but for the price they are charging now, just give us our accurate ARAH versions and make the Modern Military stuff optional.
IMO here are the Pros/Cons:
Pros
-Semi-muscular body sculpt
-Chromed swords and claw
-Claw/Shuriken molded to hand to prevent loss
-Head detail
-Clothes and camo pattern
-Arrows don't fall out of backpack like V1
Cons
-Cobra stand base and packaging (V2 SS was the GI Joe version after he left Cobra)
-The head isn't V2 SS and it's missing the grey marks
-The hood is the most annoying thing on the figure. You will spend more time adjusting this than anything else. They should have used the same wrap hood that came with the Red/Green/Black Dragon Ninjas.
-No "non gloved" hands
-Shin guards. I understand that if they molded them in white the quality wouldn't last over time, but they could have used the leg wraps on the first SS.
My fix: I took the vest off, took the arm guards off (the right one is on when I use the claw hand), ordered this 1 6 Scale Modern Arctic White Face Mask Hood | eBay put it over the unmasked head from the first SS and swapped for a GI Joe stand base..
I already bought an extra Zartan body just in case Destro comes with a black body (like snake eyes) next month...
He looks great without the vest and with the hood up.
