Back in last August, we at Hiss Tank uncovered that Hasbro has applied for a new Toy Trademark; Micro Machines. It was slightly important to us since there was a G. I. Joe and Cobra toy vehicle line from the Micro Machines series back in 1999.
Today, we may have finally uncovered why Hasbro has applied for that trademark in recent times. Thanks to the United States Patent And Trademark Office, we found out that Hasbro is planning for a possible Micro Machines Animated Series.
However, we do not know how this will work for the Joe brand. It’s just a little hope; where we too may benefit from the new Animated Series should Hasbro decide to make some G. I. Joe toys out of it (very much like how they did with Kre-O).
Fingers crossed, everybody.

My educated guess?
I'd reckon that is just as likely if not more that the focus of an upcoming MM line would the the Star Wars Universe.

Interesting. I wasn't collecting in the '90s or early 2000's, so I missed out on the MM. I might pick some up if they do a Joe line. I've been addicted to the Kre-o line.

I agree with the Star Wars universe comment. Episode VII will be the same toy selling giant that Episode I will be. Hasbro made a LOT of money off the toys and I expect to see them market the new trilogy every which way imaginable.

Loved these things back in the day.
Outside of the regular type vehicles, had a bit of the Star Trek stuff.. Think I still have'm somewhere.

The thing I didn't like about the Joe MM line shown is they were not even based on the figures & vehicles, they just threw GIJOE on the packaging. Would love to see an accurate representation of the ARAH line in either a standard MM or Action Fleet style toyline. Or even better, both.

I was a huge micro machine fan as a kid. These would be tuff to leave on the shelf if I saw them.

That being said, I'd more expect to see the Star Wars Titaniums line resurrected at the smaller MM scale.

MM Hiss Tank would be epic.
