Blowtorch is thoroughly familiar with all military incendiary devices and flame projection equipment. He’s also equally familiar with the many ways to defend against these weapons. To Blowtorch, the use of fire in combat is a science that predates the bow and arrow. He rigs a specialized flamethrower that burns a dry path through the maze of canals on Cobra Island, to the annoyance of Croc Master and his hungry crocs. G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary Green Blowtorch
Pros
Nice military deco repaint
Cons
A few years late
Overall
I see a lot of people having mixed feelings on the Blowtorch 2-pack and it makes me think Hasbro was right on when they packed the set one per case. However I feel this is going to be a sleeper hit and may turn out to be hard to find. Blowtorch is a nice military deco repaint and has the OG13 feel to him. If you want this figure get him when you see him one-per case figures always turn out to be chase figues.

Destro,
Did you drill out the hole on the gun so the hose can fit, or did you use a 50th W1 gun? Mine didn't have a hole in the gun:
50th W1 on top, 50th W3 on bottom

No mine was fine out of the package.

This look neat. Inspired by the concept art. I hope that figure and accessories are ok when I get one of my own and rest of you will.

Also is blowtorch the only figure withou a gold symbol on him?

Admittedly, I was looking forward to this figure the most, so my opinion could be skewed, but it definitely doesn't disappoint. It really does have an "OG" feel to it. I've always liked Blowtorch and I even have a nostalgic soft spot for the original's day-glo highlighter colors, but it's great to finally have a version that fits in with that era Joes and doesn't look like a walking target.

I'd like 5-10 of them, nice jungle flame thrower trooper.
