Acid Rain World HK Toy Soul Exclusives, Production Updates And More

There’s quite a bit to update you on from our friend Kit Lau and the Acid Rain World! First, let’s talk about HK Toy Soul being held in Hong Kong from December 18th – 20th. For the first time ever, an exclusive Acid Rain “Red Face” tee shirt and Infantry tote bag will be available to those in attendance! What’s really cool is the fact that the Red Face shirts are numbered, so each recipient will have his or her own one of a kind item! Labeled AR Idle, these new pieces are hopefully the first of many Acid Rain garments to come!

In related news, Kit has also shared more pictures of the upcoming Weapons Crates that will be shipped with Acid Rain figures. As noted in the pictures, these crates are very Sigma 6-esque and can be used for more than just figure storage! These will definitely make a welcome addition to many collections.

In other news, Kit also shared images of a one-of-a-kind Laurel, molded in transparent plastic, aptly named Ghost Laurel. This piece is beyond awesome, but all indications note that this will not be a mass produced item, so enjoy the attached pictures as that may be the closest we get to this awesome “invisible” piece.

Rounding out our update is a word from Kit regarding the future of the Acid Rain World, from the current status of the Chapel Mobile Command Center, to upcoming figures in the Acid Rain line. I have too many things (prototype, color dummy…) need to be finished (will show part of it in HK Toy Soul). It’s weird that I update acid rain IG everyday but still, some people think that I don’t work on Acid Rain anymore. I know people always think that product is the king. But we have many problems need to be solved. I can’t talk about them one by one. But the good news is Oritoy and I already solved the pre-production parts. Now I can create more dummies for production (Militia already on my desk) and many items are on the queue(like spaceman). I want to build more and more while Oritoy is working hard for the new joint system.(Think positive)

What I want to say is I really want to make Acid Rain big. I have to think and build the foundation better, we are in lack of resource like money and manpower(we only have 2 people) I have to do it myself.

About the new things;

I already finished militia, farmer, female soldiers, Omanga soldier, Soil Ghost prototype, and citizen, diver, student, spaceman……..are in the queue. By the way, children are on my list too.
We are working on a Laurel movable finger for advance user.
Chapel, I try to put this item in kickstarter. I know! I know! I will finish it
