Walgreens has the price set at $9.99. Sadly, no sign of Snake Eyes’ wave mates Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow and Roadblock, but they’re sure to be around as they can also be found online and in other retailers. - Funko Pop Snake Eyes
Saw this on Generalsjoes (that's where I got the pics) and was surprised no one reported it here yet (unless I'm missing something).
I've been wanting this forever, but even though Funko makes POP figures of just about anything you could ever imagine (to the point of overkill, really), I didn't think they'd ever get around to Joe for some reason. Looks like I was wrong, and that's something I'm happy about since I loves me some POPs!
Hey, we have two Cobra Commanders (helmeted and hooded), so I'm happy. Apparently Kokomo Toys has an exclusive "pre-release" sale going on on Ebay right now, but other outlets are listing these as releasing this month. I was tempted to get them from Kokomo, but they're charging $20 apiece when the normal retail price for POPs are like $8-$12. I assume the price hike is because it's a pre-release; DorkSideToys has them listed as a pre-order for $9.99, so I'm going to wait.
Currently the POPs in this assortment are the helmeted and hooded Cobra Commanders, Roadblock, Storm Shadow, and Snake-Eyes, although Kokomo isn't selling him at the moment (not sure why). But these look great, especially CC.
For those of you wondering what the Snake-Eyes POP looks like, he's shown on the back of the box...looks like they went with his V2 look.
Nice. I guess I assumed since they hadn't made any yet, they wouldn't ever.
Also, I thought the loyal subjects might have the exclusive rights to make those.

Not my thing. I think the oversized out of proportion heads and eyes are ugly. I liked the Joe Mighty Muggs but I'm not a fan of this more extreme design. Of course helmeted CC looks the best because it doesn't have those hideous beady anime eyes.
Very surprising that Duke isn't in the first wave instead of a 2nd CC.
I'm actually overjoyed that they included two Cobra Commanders in this wave (assuming that more Joes are coming down the line, but who knows?). But I get that the POP design isn't for everybody. I dig 'em, however.
Odd that these just popped (GET IT) up out of nowhere. I literally heard nothing until I saw the "for sale" announcement on Generaljoes.
They were announced a couple months ago at SDCC I believe.
Yeah, so I got these (except for Roadblock). They're very cool, and the hooded Cobra Commander (Bait exclusive) is the cutest thing ever.

I don't understand "Funko Pop". This is essentially the same thing as Mighty Muggs was about 5 years ago, yet I thought those stopped and disappeared because the demand wasn't there for it. And yet now, these damn Funko figurines are everywhere. Everyone wants big-headed, disproportionate, cutesy versions of their characters now?
Also, does "Loyal Subjects" feel kind of silly now? I mean, I get that Loyal Subjects was doing 'Joe characters in this scale/genre/niche long before Funko picked up on it, but if I had a choice between the two, I'd definitely be giving dollars to the Funko versions and not the Loyal Subjects ones (which I always thought looked ridiculous).
