It seems as though last week was a busy week for Hasbro’s legal department, as a huge number of Trademark Registrations were made at the United States Patent And Trademark Office.
Majority of the trademarks belongs to the Micronauts toyline where prior to that a G. I. Joe related trademark was spotted after what seems like an eternity.
Micronauts, G. I. Joe, M.A.S.K and Visionaries are planned to be the initial point of Hasbro Cinematic Universe where Transformers, and Jem may join in later.
This sudden trademark registration may indicate that plans are well underway at Hasbro. The trademarks are all fined under “Toy action figures & and accessories for use therewith“.
You can check out the full list of applied trademarks, after the jump.

Haven't we been through this before.
The character name trademarks expire and need to be refiled from time to time to retain ownership. It doesn't necessarily mean an impending release.
But also, Hasbro IS getting ready for HCU, but this is not new information.

Look forward for those figures...

Always wondered about how Jem and Zartan both use "hologram" technology to change their appearance. (Because holography is like magic or something). I bet an inventive writer could make something out of that.

I recently reread the first major arc of the old Marvel Micronauts series. It was flat-out amazeballs. I know these new figures won't be reflective of that series, and may not even be reflective of the new IDW comics, but damn I want these to be cool toys.
