Hasbro Pulse has given us an in depth look at the creation of Stiletto, an all new G.I.Joe character brought to life by Bill Nedrow via Kindle Worlds. You may recall that Hasbro ran a contest, where one lucky winner would have their character brought to life in modern action figure form.
Here’s a brief blurb from the article –
Every good story starts with strong characters, and every character must start with a purpose. I never set out to create an action figure; I wrote with the intention of crafting the type of G. I. Joe story that I’d always dreamed of reading. I’d hoped that G. I. Joe: First Salvo would resonate with other fans of the franchise, and when the overwhelmingly positive feedback I received informed me that it had, I began G. I. Joe: Honor. Along the way, I continued to try to craft a character-driven narrative that would stay true to the rich mythology of the brand while still providing a take on the story that was original and unique.
Thanks to Bill, Hasbro and Kindle Worlds, we now have our own Stiletto figure. The entire article is a fantastic read and definitely something you’ll want to check out for yourself. Once you do, join us after the break for discussion already in progress.
Hasbro Pulse just posted some updates on the Stilleto figure along with a few images. Apparently she'll be a tru exclusive in November.
Helix except for the head and arms.

Sweet, looks cool
I think it looks pretty lame. Looks like a pegwarmer in the making. Was it supposed to be pink? Head sculpt shows promise but the mock-up paint on it is awful.
The original art shows a big scarf, the file card art shows a small scarf, but the mock-up has none.
Arms are Zarana.
I find this to be great news. Looks like the 50th card art. I would think that she would not be the only figure produced and we will get a wave of figure including her in November.
I like her, she'll probably look better in hand. Can anyone get better pics, the one Pulse has up is ridiculously small.
The original art had a scrappier look to her costume so the Helix and Zarana body armor makes her look too high-tech. The bio is right that she has "dead eyes" based on that mock-up paint job. There has to be a better color choice than glossy hot pink, which just makes her look less like a soldier and mroe like a toy. And that face...

and all those naysayers were worried it would be an SDCC exclusive.
Now it will be easily available on Entertainment Earth and on Toys R US shelves.
The redish pink makes sense since she is Mercer's bodyguard. They match...
I'll buy it.
