    There are plenty of people that collect Vinyl figures...obviously enough to warrant a vinyl series of figures (as, you know, they actually sell without their fans waiting for ROSS).

    LOL so true! Just you watch though, Joe fans will be paying three times the original retail price for these things a year or two from now on ebay. That's what we do...don't ask me why.

    And, yeah, honestly, something like this (especially the keychains) probably should be more up my alley than the actual toys. Get a cool little nostalgia tchotchke without all the hassle of toy collecting.

    To each their own I guess. These are niche items at best. Then again....the Funko POP line at SDCC was 10 times longer than the Hasbro or Mattel booths. Maybe vinyl is taking over the world. I hope not....

    And every toy store around has millions of those things clogging shelves. Meh... like you said, to each their own. I think these are LAME.

    Yeah, I've noticed the same thing, but for the life of me, I can't understand it. Why on earth are these funko pop things, and similar items like these key chains, able to continue to sell? What's the ingedient that things like the 1:18 scale are missing that they have?

    Portable, disposable, and tiny. In the case of Funko, you can have a small collection of icons that show off your appreciation, while not feeling compelled to "collect 'em all" if you don't want to. Most folks don't have room for everything they want, but things like this remind them (and the all important "OTHER") that they still like cool things.

    Just because I get it, doesn't mean I like it.
