Snake Eyes is a silent ninja commando who dresses in all black, never reveals his face, and doesn’t speak. He stands out among the military antiterrorist group and quickly establishes himself as the most popular. He has a special relationship with Scarlett, the team’s one-time only female member, and sometimes carries out solo missions with his pet wolf, Timber. His archenemy is Storm Shadow, a ninja who is also his blood brother.
(Scouting locations in Japan, Vancouver, and Los Angeles.)

I don’t know what to make of that last paragraph (IF it’s from the casting call sheet). No trolling here—I fully expect SE to speak, up until his injury and subsequent uniform roll out.
Playful says
Too bad this description of Snake Eyes is only written by the magazine to let readers know about the existence of this character to those previously unfamiliar with him. I would have much preferred an actual statement from Paramount saying something to that effect.
It never actually mentions what this movie is going to be about this time around, which might mean that Scarlett, Timber, or Storm Shadow have little or no part in this movie.
But on the other hand, if Snake Eyes can actually retain his military status and fight terrorists in this movie, then I'm interested. Include Scarlett or Timber in this movie, so much the better.
Stalker says
I agree, if Scarlett and Timber are big parts of the movie, they are on the right track. Stalker, too! They can even call him “Lonzo” or “Ranger.”
turner says
I agree, except that Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes aren't enemies. Oh well.

So we can call the producer and audition for the Snake Eyes part?
I think I would only qualify for the Soft Master part.
pankratiast says
It would be awesome if the movie really borrowed from the comic source material, his connection to Stalker and Storm Shadow, his relationship with, Scarlett, how he was disfigured, his wolf companion, etc., but I am skeptical that Hollywood would not add their own "improvements" to the story. I am willing to audition for the part of Cobra trooper #532.
LionHeart says
The description is further proof that they are not familiar with the source material. Know why the Marvel Studios do so well? They stuck to the source material with only minor tweaks.

That synopsis appears to be written for a five year old to comprehend.
