Rumor Of A New G.I. Joe Chuckles Movie Is Probably Untrue

It has come to our attention that mainstream media is circulating a rumor of a new G.I. Joe live action movie centering around Philip “Chuckles” Provost. However, this rumor is most probably untrue… and we have reasons.

First of all, the source article by a website named Full Circle Cinema claims that the information was revealed during CinemaCon 2019; which actually took place very recently from April 1st to April 4th (with Paramount Pictures presentation taking place on April 4th). The source article was written back in February; more than a full month prior to CinemaCon. Unless there was some sort of time-travelling involved, that article is simply not possible.

Even if we think that the posted date is incorrect, we have to consider the fact whether Paramount actually said something like that during the event. That is why we talked with several people who actually attended the event. All of them stated that Paramount never made such an announcement. In fact, Paramount never went deeply into 2020 or beyond.

The article also mentions Ever Vigilant as a basis for the new film; a movie which was never mentioned by any person involved with Paramount or Hasbro. This is a direct contrast to Snake Eyes; which is constantly brought up by Lorenzo di Bonaventura of Paramount/di Bonaventura Pictures.
