Hasbro is setting up a booth at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2019 with content from our beloved G.I. Joe franchise. The brand was last seen featured on the same expo during its 2016 edition; along with the rest of the Hasbro Cinematic Universe brands.
While specific details were not given, we expect the content to be related to the upcoming G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes movie. Despite the fact that the movie’s principal photography is delayed by several months, it is a common practice for Hasbro to pitch story ideas and character art to potential license holders, approximately a year before the original release date. This was true for the delay of Transformers: Bumblebee as well.
However, it is best to keep expectations to a bare minimum. At best, we might see several concept art which usually go into licensed merchandise. Or it can very well be just a teaser poster. Only time can tell.
If you are visiting the expo, be sure to check out booth A159 on Bayside Exhibit Hall/Licensing U Theater – Level 1 for the G.I. Joe content.
Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2019 will take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from June 4th to June 6th.
You can read the official press Info, after the jump and take a look at the 2016 content via our News Post.

Does this mean I can get Joe lunchbox soon?

A nice clean re-release of the 82 would be sweet. I actually used that sucker in elementary school. Took my lunch to school.

Does Thermos make Lunchboxes like they used to? I’m talking the metal with raised details.
Zartan1011 says
Just give us a 6 inch Joe line and some top quality 3 3/4 inch Joes. And while you are at it, start planning a good Animated Series.

Investors, "Hey...is G.I. Joe still a thing?"
Hasbro, "Uhhhh sure look here's...uhm...(hushed whisper covering the mike) quick get me art or a poster or something...(regular voice)...we that is....ahh this artwork....yes its a storyboard...you know to show, we're still working."

Hey S.O., you seem to have the ear of a Joe decision maker. Recommend they bring back The GI Joe Adventure Team as 2.5 inch Playskool figures. The new bucks, as compared to the older mostly static Combat Heroes, are really great toys. Kids love them and they are super durable and fun, a cheap cartoon tie in could also be done. Using ARAH characters in Advenuture Team adventures with Playskool figures could be a perfect combination and build the market for the future. Joe bundled with "spirit animals" would also be a nice merchandising touch.
Make it so!

Can Joe just die already?
