It’s a quirky title, but that’s actually what this new post is all about. Among all the reinvigorated buzz surrounding our beloved franchise, actress Sienna Miller, who played the role of Anastasia “Baroness” DeCobray on G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra, just found out that there is a second G.I. Joe live action movie and she was not asked to reprise her character.
“I’m sorry,” she said to the reporter from Forbes. “You saw both of them? Wait, there was a second one? Well, they didn’t bring me back.”
… and she went on to talk about her experience with the first movie:
“There are roles in those kinds of things that would be fun and things that I think my kid would like. I just haven’t been offered that yet. I would be open to it. I know what I can do now, and I know what I can’t do,” she mused. “I shouldn’t have played a villain in a comic book because I’m just not that villainous or tall or strong. I am internally, of course, but I couldn’t fire a gun without blinking. I’m not a particularly physically threatening presence. The whole thing was a bit of a disaster from start to finish.”
What do you think of her portrayal of Baroness? Would you like to see her back in a future installment? Sound-off on the thread associated with this news post.

Wait, Sienna Miller was the Baroness in ROC?
That’s pretty bad she didnt know that. I guess her agent did a good job keeping the fact that she wasn’t called back a secret.
She looked great in the black outfit, but I thought she was a misguided choice. I never could buy into the origin of her character. And not the right accent.
That statement sounds like she was being sarcastic. You'd have to see the actual interview to confirm. Seems like she is a little upset that she wasn't asked to be in the sequel. I think she was lashing out a bit. I didn't mind her in ROC, it was just a terrible character arc that she had. I blame that in the writers.
She was pretty dismissive of RoC, the director and her casting after it came out. Not uncommon for British actors to deride a Hollywood movie they were in, if it isn't successful.
My girls loved her. They had all her action figures when it came out. To them, she was the "pretty Baroness," and the Sunbow one was just "okay."
