We have received a reliable word regarding a confirmed partnership between Hasbro and Jazwares for the G.I. Joe Franchise.
At the moment, we do not have a lot of information regarding the licensing agreement, but we can confirm that the big reveal is set to take place during this year’s Toy Fair.
Since Hasbro is directly manufacturing G.I. Joe toys, it is likely that Jazwares will contribute from the accessory front. These kind of agreements are not new for both companies as they worked together recently for the Nerf toy line where Jazwares produced additional accessories for the hit action series.
Jazwares 4-Inch and 6-Inch toylines for the Fortnite franchise is a super hit among Fortnite fans and G.I. Joe fans alike. What the two companies are cooking under wraps, will surely be a surprise this year.

When I read accessories I think weapons for the figures but I don’t think that makes sense, to bring another company onboard just to make the guns and backpacks. I saw some role play items in Target from the FN line so maybe that will be what they manufacture.
The FN figs seem to be made well with a great level of articulation but I don’t own one.
Best news so far for the GI Joe fans...
I seen those Fornite figures selling everywhere...

Let’s just wait till toy fair to see what they’re bringing to the table.
Since Hasbro has shown they're mostly done with Joe for the time being, this could be a win-win. Hasbro makes money from the license and has near-zero risk with no production costs.
Hasbro has always wanted to broaden their scope, and this allows them to follow in Disney's footsteps by loaning out their in-house properties.
I've been a fan of the Fortnite figures to date, and most of them blend pretty well with the later ME figures with something as simple as a head swap.

I guess this is good news in that we may be getting 4" GI Joe figures, but I'm not a fan of the FN figures. I know nothing about FN, and I have used a FN head here and there for customs, the figure builds are just too off for me to include in my Joeverse.
Overall, this is good as now there will be GI Joe in FN. I wonder how many players would want to have Snake Eyes as their avatar.

Win win is Jazwares 4 inch articulated figures like Fortnite figures - more geared towards kids. And then Hasbro makes 6 inch figures.
One thing Fortnite collectors know: if Jazware is making 4 inch figures - then they have wave 1-4 already completed. That company drops figures left and right that nobody knew was coming and they drop them fast! LOL!

I wonder if Bobby had anything to do with this?
