We have received a word on the revised release date for the upcoming Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins movie and according the info, it is pushed to the month of June in 2021.
Based on our investigation, this tidbit is coming to us from the land down under. It is unclear whether this is just the release date for Australia or applicable to the rest of the world.
Further strengthening this info is the fact that the release date for Hasbro-Paramount Micronauts movie is scheduled on June 4th, 2021. It is not uncommon for Hasbro movies to move into each other’s release dates with the most recent example being this very same Micronauts movie allowing Snake Eyes to move into its original slot of October 16th, 2020 (later revised to October 23rd).
Nevertheless, it is best to take this info with a grain of salt until we hear an official word from Paramount.

Not surprising. I doubt we're getting any new movies the rest of the year.
Better to move it than have the thing disappear into VoD, especially since they're trying to re-kick off the brand.
I'm sure there's plenty of "classic" toys they can get us to buy in the meantime.
Its a bummer for this to happen all now when they are pushing the brand so hard now, the movie would have been perfect. Do wonder if this means movie tie in toys are gonna at least be held back and no have another Retaliation issue with stores stuck with stock for a movie that isn't coming out.
