G.I. Joe Classified Series Duke Repaint Also Discovered

under G.I. Joe Classified

Following the footsteps of Roadblock and Scarlett, G.I. Joe Classified Series Duke has also received a paint scheme adjustment to his figure and weapons.

A customer (Jared Moyle) has ordered the regular figure via Amazon and received this new recolor instead.

Special thanks to Dan Atwood for bringing this news to our attention.

    Hey look at that a fresh new thread, I can't resist..!
    Even though the Snake Eyes movie was disappointing for pretty much everyone, I'm hoping that toy sales are strong enough that soon GI Joe will be upgraded from an "emerging" brand (I think that's what Hasbro was calling it) so that we can get Classified figures produced at a slightly higher rate. I don't think my wallet could handle Legends-level releases, but the current trickle does feel a bit anemic. I'm especially looking forward to the rumored Croc Master and would also love to see more vehicles / non-figure releases! Also a Haslab is definitely on my wishlist.. maybe a Skystriker or WHALE?

    We have so much to look forward to with the G.I.Joe brand in 2022 and PulseCon is going to be awesome this year. We also still have a few more figure on the way before the end or 2021. This line is Fire!

    CONFLAGRATION FIRE! I can't freakin wait for PulseCon. This line makes me fell like a kid. Can't wait to get (two) color shifting Zartan.

    SO excited for every reveal. And we need some! It's been a minute.

    I said this before but, a cobra sky crane would be amazing. Its the perfect Haslab classified vehicle. It can easily be a center piece, has plenty of space for posing figures, and has never been made before despite being a major player in some of the Joe comics. And unlike a Hisstank or VAMP it has a very low chance of ever being made other wise.

    Only issue I can think of is space for the large rotor blades as well as blades being fragile.

    I opened and set up the Alpha Commandos recently!!! So much fun! I am so glad Hasbro came out with a Timber, while also giving us a Commando Snake Eyes! As well as Breaker and Ram, Barbeque, and MOD Zartan to look forward to this year yet!!!

    I also want to try and build a diorama in the winter for Classified.

    I have wanted a Cobra Skycrane toy since I first saw it in the comics as a kid. I'd prefer it in 1/18 scale, because Classified size would be waaaay to big. But who am I kidding, I'd buy one anyway.

    My features wishlist for such a HASLAB project:
    • Cockpit that seats at least 2 figures
    • removable cargo pod with modular parts to make it a troop transport or cargo bay
    • working winch, rope, and hook
    • attachment points molded in to the frame so it can carry a later retail-release vehicle (HISS tank, preferably)
    • lights & sounds features
    • pilot figure
    • "Scarface" Cobra trooper figure (stretch goal)
