John Warden has announced that he and his team will take G.I. Joe under their wings along with Power Rangers and Ghostbusters.
But wait, there’s more. Hasbro’s design manager Leonard “Lenny” Panzica will also join Mr. Warden’s team to further develop the brand we know and love.
“Excited to announce that #GIJoe will be added to our team’s portfolio of brands along with #PowerRangers and #Ghostbusters. The talented Lenny will be joining our team! Awesome things on the Horizon… YO JOE!
-John Warden
It is encouraging to see G.I. Joe being taken up by someone with a wealth of experience when it comes to brand development. We congratulate the new team and wish them the best of luck for the future.

Keep Lenny, great designs. Add Warden, awesome news! He was around for some of the best Joe turn out (POC, etc).
Pack your bags, Mustache. Like, yesterday.

May the toy experts weigh in. Not one contribution or any experience in the field but to just come to a toy forum and belittle the effort these people are putting forth in the GI Joe line.

Ya, like the guy above said, can someone weigh in who knows more and tell us what does this mean? Does this mean that Hasbro lost faith in Lenny and did not like how he was handling the brand? Could this mean Joe is going in the right direction now? Does this vindicate the posters here who said things weren't going well for the brand? What does it mean that it is now with two other brands? Is that good, bad, or doesn't matter? Could this mean we will be able to get products more easily?
Feel free to ask or answer any other questions I couldn't think of.
Dreadnok Twins says
Hasbro, does this mean you’ll be including Zarana’s twin brother Zander too now?

I really do hope that with Warden back at the helm of GI Joe, Classified will get right back on track. I also hope this means that we'll see Cobra Island re-releases sooner rather than later. I doubt Warden is clueless on how the exclusives have been handled thus far. I remember him most from Transformers. From Thrilling 30 to Earthrise, that is practically 7 years worth of THE BEST Transformers stuff since it's revival back in 2007 with the Bay movies.

He's been over 20 years in Hasbro.
That also help on knowing how the company breaths underneath.
I think it is good news for our joes.😊
