With the news of Retro Line Wave 4 popping up at a Walmart in Georgia, HISSTANK decided to dig the Walmart App for potential UPC codes assigned to the upcoming wave.
With special thanks to Shawn Davids, who seems to be the originator of the images floating around, we were able to acquire the UPCs of Retro Stalker and Retro Cobra Trooper from the back of the carded figures. It didn’t take long to discover the UPC of the 3rd figure; since Retro Waves usually consist of three 3.75 inch G.I. Joe toys.
To our surprise, we found a 4th.
The 4th UPC is also priced similar to a single carded figure rather than a figure + vehicle pack. However, since Assortment Codes are also priced in a similar manner, we had to take a look at how Retro Assortments are usually denoted. Once again to our surprise, the listing lacked the usual ‘AST’ notation.
Since the card backs of Stalker and Cobra Trooper do not indicate the third figure, we may even be looking at Wave 5 of the Retro Line. Only time will tell (or at least during Walmart Collector Con 2021).

I can’t get excited about this without a primary 3.75 line. In fact, I hate all retro lines. I think they are predatory in nature.

Is that Hiss Tank part of the Retro line? It doesn't say "retro" next to it.
