Hmmm...
Dusty and Outback on the cover.
Not even a finished in color cover.
And it's IDW, so this will be released in July 2023.

I pray it's not zombies.
But Serpentor does establish a precedent for actual resurrection in the G.I. Joe universe.
I could see a really great storyline where Snake Eyes has been resurrected, but working for cobra with the Arashikage Mindset.
Another rescue mission is launched, with different storylines happening involving different characters.
Dawn decides she has to kill him but is really torn up about it. But she has to summon everything to try to take him down, even while she feels horrible about it.
In the meantime, Scarlet is convinced she can save him, and so she both has to stop Dawn from killing him as well as figure out a way to snap him out of it.
But a moment comes when Scarlett has to choose between saving Snake Eyes or saving Dawn. And Scarlett choses Dawn.
Dawn: Why?
Scarlett: He never would have forgiven me.
They expect to see Snake Eyes dead. But he's been saved.
By Tommy.
Dawn is now 100% on Scarlett's side. Dawn, Scarlett, and Tommy work together to save Snake Eyes and restore his memories using Dawn's brain.
In the battle, as Cobra tries to stop them, Dawn sacrifices herself so that Snake Eyes can live again and Scarlett and him can be together.
Final battle happens. Cobra is finally defeated.
Cut to:
Two years later. Scarlet and Snake Eyes are living together in a mountain cabin. Tommy has finally tracked them down. "This was hard, even for me."
They introduce him to the babies. Twins. A boy and a girl. Just like Snake Eyes and his sister.
The boy's name is Tommy. The girl's name is Dawn.
The End.
