Expanding the existing agreement, Tomy International has acquired the license to manufacture various merchandise based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe property.
Issuing a statement to the press, ahead of the Licensing Expo 2022, Tomy stated that plans for the G.I. Joe franchise will be revealed in near future.
Considering Tomy’s licensing pedigree, we can expect to see licensed RC vehicles, plushies, bath toys, preschool toys, etc.
It is unclear if Tomy will showcase the future G.I. Joe products at this year’s Licensing Expo, but it is likely that the actual products will hit toy shelves in 2023.

That's kind of cool, TOMY used to have GIJoe merchandise during Valor vs. Venom
It's weird because I recently dreamt I was in Japan staring at a selection of Tomica GI Joe 1/64 diecast cars.
