We had BETTER see a final 1-2 TPB(s) that collect the last 14 (?) issues before IDW bails out!

Meanwhile, I’m glad IDW is finished. What kind of brain dead move includes bringing back a classic hard cover collection that covers a period of time/issues THAT ARE ALREADY COLLECTED in HC, when the fandom has been waiting 7 years for issues in the 70-80s, represented by the canceled volume 9?! If they can get off their @$$ to make a “Serpentor” HC book, where were the rest of the HC volumes to fill out the INCOMPLETE “complete collection” these past handful of years?!

    Ugghhh. *face plant*

Re-reading the Devil's Due series at the moment. I've come to appreciate their approach more.

DDP had a lot of good ideas overall, but had some bad characterization of Zarana and Zandar. You'll notice as you re-read that Zarana does nothing except talk to or about Zartan and basically hangs off of him. I was told by DDP she and Zandar were twins, and yet they went out of their way to discourage the notion. SPOILERS: They lost me with Zarana being superglued to Zartan after Zandar was nearly killed. No follow up with her twin, no resolution. Just more of the Zartarana entity.

She had her best development in the original comic, being portrayed as smart, independent, and able to be second in command of Cobra.

100% - I liked it at the time, but it really holds up - like it even more now.

Timed with the Classified Serpentor for SDCC?

I'm looking forward to reading the Saturday Morning Adventures TPB. ARAH Serpentor wasn't bad then but I find him to be too one-note considering all the importance in making him and the genetic legacies. I'm surprised the Living Legend didn't make him the forefather of the Arashikage ninja clan ... or did he?

Same here. I liked it back then and I still like. Cannot believe it has been over 20 years since the Devils Due G.I. Joe comic debut. And, to this day it is still better than the majority of the stuff IDW has released.
