Cooobraaa!  The Commander is decked out and ready to rule in the Convention Exclusive Snake Supreme Cobra Commander.  This was originally most likely going to be a SDCC exclusive, and was eventually pushed back to September for Hascon.  A round hit during the online event, and preorders are in progress for a second round later this year.

He starts with the base retail edition of Cobra Commander then adds a new shoulder / belt harness, soft goods cape, new gun, new staff, and globe accessories.  He also sports a black, red and gold deco with a very ornate print on his chest, back and legs.  All in all he is decked out in a crazy over the top get up that is fitting for the Commander.    The packaging matches this with great artwork and a fold open gimmick.

We’ve run him through a set, read on to check out some basic, comparison and fancy shots after the break!

    The shot where PDD and Baroness are looking at each other is simply amazing. It really makes me love Baroness even more. She and the Trooper might just be the best 6" figures I have (or have seen).

    Agreed. I'll have to wait a bit till the new car smell wears off to definitely say, but right now they are 2 of my favorite releases in a while - roll out nonsense aside.

    RE: that shot - even tho the PROFIT DIRECTOR is for sure a P.I.M.P. needed to make sure Baroness is still his tag team partner. She's there helping hem get those PROFITS from Kingpin. .

    What amazes me about this line is just how awesome the figures are, even while they are being so underproduced (and even if I disagree with some of the designs). If you stand Baroness next to any of the new Black Widow figures (the Target white one, the new Scarlett-head one, etc.), it's just no comparison which figure is better made, and I would have to think even a Black Widow fan would concede that. I won't even bother to mention how Baroness (or any Joe) compares to a Star Wars Black series figure.

    It's so odd that the line has gotten such loving attention from the sculptors and designers, but can't find a way to get itself into stores or consistently available online.
