G.I. Joe: Retaliation Reaches Netflix Top 10 List

Flabbergasting everyone, G.I. Joe: Retaliation has reached Netflix’s US Top 10 list for the week.

It is unclear why the movie suddenly skyrocketed in popularity. It was not too long ago that the 2nd live-action movie celebrated its 10th anniversary.

At the time of this writing, G.I. Joe: Retaliation has claimed up the ladder from the 10th position to the 9th. We even expect it to climb more.

    Probably because it’s a good TNT Movie if the Afternoon. Ironically, it feels a lot like a streaming movie that Netflix would make targeting that audience.

    HA! It really does. Hell, I liked it well enough for kinda sorta looking & acting like the property I love. But that 1st one... Woof.

    I cancelled Netflix. Literally only good thing turning it on for is Stranger Things. I'll turn it back on in three years when the next season gets released. Other than that it's basically a teenage skin-a-max. Idiotic shows with horrible writing, production and acting.

    Yeah with Bruce Willis and the Rock it's not really that different from a Red Notice or Extraction style pic.

    Of the three live action movies I'd pronounce it the best. Animated iterations are better IMO (especially Resolute and the OG cartoon), but as far as Joe movies that aren't terrible... Retaliation is the most fun.

    The bigger revelation? Folks are chomping at the bit for Joe material to digest. This is the clearest sign of that. They really should fast track something... anything (good)!

    I'm just hoping that instead of diversity casting they just use diverse characters, give us Stalker, Spirit, I'd even be ok with realistic Budo...this gives us reasons to explore interesting locations too

    2nd, they've got to use iconic costumes, none of the ROC generic suits
