Interesting to see the "pick & mix" aspect to this kickstarter, as opposed to the preset combos from the last one. For me the most interesting figs are some of the higher up stretch goals, and especially the steady-cam weapon.... man I hope we can make it there!


edit: just checked, and I forgot how much the first MTF was able to reach, $244k. These goals don't seem too far off at all!

Not quite as much free stuff thrown into those higher tiers, which is absolutely understandable. Part of me kinda feels bad about the deal vice admiral was last time around.
Gonna have to wait a bit to get funds lined up, but I am stoked to see how this one does!

I just backed it with the Valhalla package. The addition of a rifle, pistol, and 2 GRENADES with each figure is a great addition to that level that most dont realize. You don't get them with any other packages.
The all-in is nice, but I like that for an extra $360 I get 50 picks and the weapons. That's essentially $7 per choice.

I wish we'd gotten parts like the backpack, radio, shotgun holster and satchel with the MTF figures. I'd rather have had either of the two vest designs shown than the one they went with for the male figures, too.

That said, I'll note that we got what was effectively Snake Eyes and a Colonial Marine last time. This round appears to be offering Lady Jaye and a USCM pilot as stretch goals in addition to the aforementioned smartgunner.

Went full Valhalla. No regrets.

And now for 41 days of fun. I can't back until the first week of September, so I'm glad that there is plenty of time.
