Hiya Toys has just announced the next figure in their Exquisite Mini G.I. Joe line-up Beachhead!
Now Beachhead joins Hiya Toys EXQUISITE MINI Series.
No one has ever seen Beachhead (aka Wayne Sneeden) snap. He thinks anger is a waste of time and energy that results in loss of logic. On a mission or off, he is rarely seen in public without his balaclava mask, a choice he made in order to seem more imposing. His combination of patience and thirst for excellence make him both an elite ranger and a formidable teacher, and his meticulously thought-out weapon designs and gear mods are remarkable for their insight and precision.
A legend among G.I. Joe rookies for his unflinching training methods (he expects as much out of his trainees as he expects from himself), he may not be universally loved, but he’s universally respected. Sneeden’s hardened outlook extends to missions as well; he delights in squatting in festering jungles for days at a stretch to wait for the perfect moment ambush the enemy.
The Beachhead Action Figure is a fully articulated collectible, stands at 4.1inches tall, featuring 19 points of articulation. With a brand new base body, it allows for extensive and dynamic posing, recreate a variety of combat stances. Equipped with a range of weapons, comes with accessories such as a crossbow, submachine gun, and tactical backpack. Knife and handgun holds on legs can be individually removed. Additionally, the figure includes interchangeable hand parts, allowing you to display different styles and gestures. Included with the figure is an exclusive base, enabling you to recreate an authentic battlefield atmosphere right in the comfort of your own home!
Release time: 2023Q4
Price: 24.99USD
So there are hints here and there that Hiya is doing something Joe related. Not my favorite of the current high end 4 inch figure companies, but it is interesting. Here?s a link to a thread in the toy forum but
news and rumors feels like a better location. Thoughts? Are you excited about this?

This is pretty much what I expected to happen. Hasbro has become a licensing machine with regards to GI Joe. I don't own any Hiya figures, but apparently they've continued to improve. From what I've seen, their sculpts are very detailed. I'm looking forward to seeing the first wave.
zero interest here. i dont have the first hiya figure. they're just tall enough not to fit in with what i actually want to collect.

Hiya toys look amazing, but they are more of just small statues. They are small and fragile so not really "toys" to be played with. Pose em and leave em, gotta be gentle with them. Great sculpts and decent paint, very detailed, just not very rugged builds
