Back at Toy Fair 2023 we got word that McFarlane Toys would be producing Page Punchers products using Hasbro properties, specifically Transformers and G.I. Joe. Products were available on display at the McFarlane booth but no pics were allowed at the time. Now that becomes official with a press release from McFarlane Toys announcing the broader partnership with Hasbro. Read on to check it out, and stay tuned for product reveals in the new year.
McFarlane Toys Expands Page Punchers Brand & Signs Multi-Brand Licensing Agreement with Hasbro
Los Angeles, Calif. December 12, 2023 – McFarlane Toys has announced an exciting, multi-brand licensing agreement with leading toy and game company Hasbro, adding TRANSFORMERS, POWER RANGERS, G.I. JOE and DUNGEONS & DRAGONS to their Page Punchers line-up. Kicking off with TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE products, each Page Puncher will include a full comic book and two articulated figures.
“Page Punchers is an exciting program for us because it gets comic books into people’s hands, along with a fun toy product, who might not otherwise shop at comic stores. Parents enjoy them because they encourage reading and collectors like them because they provide unique and interesting character stories. With articulated figures, plus a full comic book in each Page Punchers item, we offer incredible value with this brand,” said Todd McFarlane, founder and CEO of McFarlane Toys.
“From TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE to POWER RANGERS, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS and others, a number of Hasbro brands are known for their rich history and continued storytelling through comics. Page Punchers is a natural extension of these brands, providing the action and adventure our multi-generational fans have come to expect. We can’t wait for fans and collectors, alike, to get their hands on the first product drop coming out in early 2024,” said Casey Collins, President of Licensed Consumer Products at Hasbro.
Product is expected to launch in early 2024 and will be available at mass market and specialty retailers.

Honestly, some Todd Mac interpretations of GI Joe and Cobra may be pretty cool. I bet he’s itching to do a hooded CoCo.

But yeah, my excitement for these is like on the level of Keychan accessories or Jada Mini figs, kinda low.
I?m wonder if the if the Duke, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, & Crimson Guard Page Punchers will be based on their Energon Universe as a way to really push the Skybound Comics.
These are nice gifts to introduce a kid to comics and action figures. I'll look forward to seeing how the Joe line turns out with the figures and the comics they choose.
