Hasbro and Mattel have been playing nice in recent times, allowing their brands to cross over and play in the wheelhouses of the other camp. Today G.I. Joe joins the party with an all new building bricks set from MEGA. This is the former MEGA BLOKS which competed with that other brick company and is now part of Mattel proper in-house. They’ll be producing a pretty big set right off the bat with a Skystriker vs H.I.S.S. Tank, complete with mini figures Duke, Ace, Cobra Commander and the HISS Driver. Retail is 81 USD, and will be exclusive to MattelCreations.com (for Hasbro only folks reading, that’s like their Hasbro Pulse site). Sometimes they launch and it ships ASAP. Sometimes it's a pre-order for later. We'll know on launch day, they usually mark the PO info if it is one, then.
Mattel Creations is great at shipping ASAP. Opposite of Pulse.
But JFC, that pricepoint. Likely going to pass for $81 before tax and shipping. C'mon.

This looks a lot better than those junky discount store things from Forever Clever. I hope it's actually worth the price being asked, and won't fall to pieces when you sneeze in its general direction the FC ones do.
Wonder how they compair to the old Kreo line

Wow, these look pretty well sculpted and detailed. I never bought Kreos or Mega Construx, are these a big improvement?
