G.I. Joe came with some heat today!  In addition to the G.I. Joe Classified reveals, we got new 3.75 O-Ring Retro figures coming back AND the launch of the G.I. Joe Haslab Skystriker!

Hasbro Pulsecon 2021 is happening this coming Friday and Saturday, October 22 and 23rd, 2021.  To get everyone ready, Hasbro sent out a promotional mailer featuring some of the exclusives set to go up for order along with some items not due out for a bit.  We’ve run the box for a quick set of pics to show off the goods.  Included were:

A sad day today – Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner  has passed away at the age of 58.   He had been battling cancer since 2014 and recently took a sudden leave of absence. Mr. Goldner was involved with creating the Hasbro we know today, joining in 2000 and becoming CEO by 2008, transforming the company into an entertainment focused one and reviving core brands.  Under his leadership G.I. Joe grew into a new era, giving us 3.75 Modern, 3 movies, a cartoon and most recently – G.I. Joe Classified.  His focus on balancing nostalgia while moving brands into the future allowed G.I. Joe to escape the 80s and flourish.

We here at HissTank would like to thank him for his leadership at Hasbro, letting the teams do what they do and giving us some great product over the last 20 years.  For additional information, please see the below press releases.

under G.I. Joe Statues, G.I. Joe Various, New York Comic Con

A couple G.I. Joe items were on display during NYCC 2021 at the Diamond Select Toys booth. Included were the next wave of G.I. Joe Minimates, a Storm Shadow bust, Snake Eyes and Destro statues. The next wave of Minimates will include Roadblock, Duke, Destro and Baroness. We took some shots in person yesterday so read on to check them out!

Snake Eyes G.I. Joe Origins is almost here, hitting theaters in under two weeks.  Today we are taking a look at the first wave of Classified figures from the movie – Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and The Baroness.  All three of these are core G.I. Joe personalities remixed to represent their on-screen appearances from the movie.   Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow each come with an unmasked head featuring the actors’ likenesses.

We’ve run each for a set showing off their features along with a couple fancies.   These are trickling out state side now so keep an eye out on your preferred ordering spot!  Read on to check the pics!

Paramount dropped multiple Snake Eyes G.I. Joe Origins trailers today and now we have some HD Screen Caps from all 3 videos. As with all trailers, they build upon each other starting with the teaser showing new footage in split second hits. We’ve tried to pull those out inside. Super 7 have finally revealed their G.I. Joe Ultimates wave of figures.  These stand at 7 inches tall and are heavily inspired by the Sunbow cartoon.  The first wave consists of Cobra Commander, Duke, Snake Eyes and Timber, and the Cobra B.A.T.  Retail is around $55 USD, pre-orders will be open for 1 month, and they are printed to order.  They will ship in Spring 2022.  Read on for details and pics!
