It’s only fitting that on Veterans Day, we give thanks to those that serve and those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. 3DJoes stopped by to share word of a very special set of auctions that he is currently hosting in honor & memory of Master Sergeant Josh Wheeler.
Master Sergeant Joshua Wheeler was a United States Army Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (aka Delta Force) Master Sergeant. A veteran of 14 deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Wheeler earned four Bronze Stars with the letter V (awarded for valor in combat) and seven Bronze Stars (awarded for heroic or meritorious service in a combat zones). He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
He served in the single most elite unit the U.S. has to offer, and he truly is one of the best of the best. His sacrifices are endless and certainly unfathomable to most. Not only was he a exemplary Soldier but also a husband, a father of four, and a local to our hometown of Southern Pines.
The loss hits close to home for 3DJoes, as this fine gentleman was a part of the community in which 3DJoes’ family still resides. A fund raiser is currently being co-ordinated and that’s where 3DJoes, and by extension you, come in to play. 3DJoes is offering 2 auctions with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit  Master Sergeant Josh Wheeler’s family. Joe Moscone former Hasbro Publicist is auctioning off his Action Figure collection for Charity: Receptions For Research
“Through mid-June, we’re auctioning a variety of toys and collectibles from my personal stash. I gathered all these items during my many years working with Hasbro’s Entertainment Brands. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each and every item in this auction will go to Receptions For Research. Our plan is to post several auctions through mid-June, each with a new selection of approximately 15-20 items”.

Thanks to eBay member lizard*217 there is now a rare opportunity to own a carded G.I. Joe Movie Rise of Cobra POC Ripcord. This wave never hit retail before the switch over to POC, and this is an extremely rare carded Desert Battle figure.

Our good friend Tom Feister has posted the original cover art to GI JOE #5 on eBay! All proceeds go to help out the family of a friend. Included in the auction is a signed copy of the issue. ‪#‎TorresBenefit‬
This was produced for IDW Publishing. The original is 11 x 17 on bristol paper, in pen and ink. This cover features team leader Duke. The original art was altered by request of Hasbro as they thought it was too graphic. The patch that was created is included in the auction, as is an autographed copy of GI JOE #5.
