Serpentor is a Pulse Con preorder with hopes it will be in hand by end of year. Same amount of Serpentors were made as Dr. Mindbender, 3x as many as MOD Zartan.

Size of packaging is a logistical item that the G.I. Joe team needs to keep into mind while choosing vehicles that will see mass retail on shelf items. HasLab H.I.S.S. box already exceeds those limits as is. Wanted the first G.I. Joe HasLab to be a vehicle that was from G.I. Joe Lore only.

Filecards: May put tech into G.I. Joe in the future for file cards via QR codes. Looking into it, working on it, not guaranteed, everybody loves technology.

G.I. Joe team wants to start tapping into environmental (snow, desert, swamp, etc.) designs may look at POC (Pursuit of Cobra) designs to push those limits in the future.

Swappable hands – Will try to include with characters that it fits with gear load outs but not all figures will have that opportunity.

Vac-metal or Vac-metal like tech face on Retro Carded Cobra Commander (HasLab) is being looked into but not confirmed. It’s still in design.

Serpentor’s Head – Hood- cape is removeable to allow a deep peg so the Cobra head hood is firmly in place

Holiday themed X-mas – Halloween figures could be potentially made (see SDCC 2022 Star Wars Figures) in the future, nothing is off the table for G.I. Joe

Future of G.I. Joe O-ring? Can not talk about O-ring plans at this time will have information in a few months on that front.

Sgt. Slaughter asked to have a saluting hand if Hasbro ever decides to do another Sgt. Slaughter.

Super high end deluxe packaging will be convention and Hasbro pulse exclusives only. Plans to bring more regular deluxe price points to retail are in place.

Starting to have conversations internally with the G.I. Joe Team about bringing on more celebrity stars for future figures. No further details yet. (Example Sgt. Slaughter)

No promises at this point but they are looking into a possibility of another run of Dr. Mindbender. There is a moratorium in place on reprinting older figures in G.I. Joe Classified until the new ones make their way to retail and the shipping situation improves.

Looking into the possibility of G.I. Joe classified accessory packs, nothing is off the tables.

There were tons of G.I. Joe youtubers and site admins in attendance and I would like to thank them as well. Chris (Full Force Podcast), Scott, Action Figure Insider, Daniel, Comic Book Rresources Chris, Jeremy, Bret, Rob and a few people I did not know but It was a good time. Lastly Thanks to Hasbro and the G.I. Joe team and every one involved at Hasbro for the invite!

The G.I.Joe Collectors club has sent out word that carded Big Lob figures are now available through the Club store. If you want to recreate the G.I.Joe Rawhides on your shelf like HISSTANK.com forum member 46 Zone did in the image shared here, then now’s your chance!

For those that are still waiting on their membership incentive bagged Big Lob, the Club noted that all figures have shipped and provided the following information:

Domestic-shipped June 14th
Foreign-shipping today via FedX (June 21st)

Please allow:
Domestic roughly 3 weeks for delivery (roughly July 5)
Foreign roughly 4-6 weeks for delivery (roughly July 19-August 2 timeframe)

The extra figures for both the 12″ and 3 3/4″ including the accessory set for the Man of Mysteries and the carded Big Lob are now in the store. They will not ship until the convention non-attending figures ship.Extra convention items will be in the store later this week.

Thanks to HISSTANK.com forum members sba and supermanblue for sharing images of their recently received G.I.Joe Collectors Club Member Incentive Big Lob Figure. Big Lob was the final figure from the roughneck squad to get immortalized in Modern Era form. The carded version of Big Lob sold out quickly and it’s easy to see why, as he’s a fantastic looking figure.

The Official G.I.Joe Convention Facebook Page has shared images of all the exclusives available this year. Included in the images are pics of all exclusives out of packaging, along with images of a full rack of G.I.Joe figures just like the good old days!

There appears to be plenty of carded Big Lob figures available, so hopefully those if you that are still awaiting your bagged Club figure will receive it soon.

In related G.I.Joe Collectors Club news, the 2017 12″ Membership Incentive Figure wasn’t the only update that was shared.  Big Lob, who was first revealed back in November 2016 graces the GIJCC front page as well. Sadly, it’s not a new image, but the same that was shared in the club magazine. This time around, at least, we get a much better look at the figure. From the Club –

We are proud to announce that the 2017 GIJCC membership incentive 3 3/4″ action figure is a modern era BIG LOB… featuring a NEW head sculpt, removable grenade bandolier, pistol and grenade launcher! This fan favorite G.I. Joe character was first introduced in the 1987 animated movie. He was never made into an action figure until our 2010 classic O-ring style BIG LOB… which sold out immediately after release.

G.I. Joe collectors waited three decades for this figure and now is your chance to add him into your modern era ranks. This FREE figure will be sent to any G.I. Joe Club member that selects the 3 3/4″ figure option and whose membership is active by March 16th, 2017. It will be mailed in a polybag and includes file card, weapons and figure stand.

The GI Joe Collector’s Club has announced 2017’s membership figure: Big Lob.

From Wikipedia:

Big Lob is a former basketball player who speaks in sports commentator jargon. His real name is Bradley J. Sanders, and he was born in Chicago, Illinois.

Big Lob first appeared in G.I. Joe: The Movie, voiced by Brad Sanders. He is established as a member of the “Rawhides”, a group of new Joe recruits (including Chuckles, Jinx, Law & Order and Tunnel Rat) trained by Beach Head.

Big Lob had no action figure or comic book counterpart until 2010, when his figure became available as a G.I. Joe Club exclusive. He was listed as a reserve member of G.I. Joe during the America’s Elite comic series, and is seen on a map as having been deployed as part of the Joes’ efforts to battle Cobra Commander’s forces worldwide during the “World War III” storyline.
