The folks behind the effort to bring us Eagle Force Returns have been hard at work sharing updates over the last few days, so we’ve rounded them all up below for your reading pleasure! Let’s get to it!

First and foremost, a big congratulations goes to our friend Chris from The Drawn Word on the birth of his son! Both Mom & Boy are doing well and are back at home!

Speaking of The Drawn Word, Chris has shared word via the Eagle Force Goldie Hawk Photo Card Kickstarter Campaign Page that a few of you came together to make sure, through hook and crook, that we make the stretch goal for Cat cards! Now, the amount of cards that will be created hasn’t been budgeted as of yet, but a teaser of “The Cat Mission files” was shared and we’ve mirrored it here after the jump for your viewing pleasure.

Next up, by way of the Eagle Force Returns Facebook Page comes our first look at a couple of test shots from the molds for the Eagle Force figures…these are VERY VERY early and need work but Fresh Monkey just loves showing behind the scenes images and we’re thankful for it!

While we’re talking about figures, an update was made to the Larry Hama Action Figure Kickstarter Campaign Page. The update shares tools that will be used to bring “The Creator” to life and also shares word of the cut off for the backerkit – July 15th. If you want to ADD ON additional items to your order now is the time.

Wrapping up the Eagle Force Returns news is a pair of updates for Eagle Force: Monster Force. The Fresh Monkey Fiction Website now has an area dedicated to sharing Bios for characters from Monster Force! The first group of bios includes Declan Van Helsing, The Forgotten King, Dracula and Dr. Rand! Not only are bios available, but Fresh Monkey also shared an early look at The Forgotten King that we’ve also shared after the break.

It’s the final countdown for the  Larry Hama A Real American Creator Kickstarter Campaign from  Fresh Monkey Fiction. With 3 days left to go, the campaign is currently at $29,378…only $622 away from the next and final stretch goal!

It’s so exciting to know that soon we’ll be able to add the Godfather of G.I.Joe to our collections. I don’t know about you, but Larry’s going to be kicking tail and taking names on my shelf! In case you’ve missed this campaign completely, check out the details below –

Fresh Monkey Fiction is going to change that with the limited edition Larry Hama action figure!

Standing at 4” high, the Larry Hama figure features an original Hama head sculpt by Nick Whitmore and original art card by Adam Riches. This figure is perfectly suited for adventures at a convention, on a stage, or even tackling the might of a deadline.

$25 gets you the Standard Larry Hama Figure itself, carded in a classic bubble. The Deluxe Figure level gives you the Top Secret accessory and Larry Hama metal trading card (both exclusive to this Kickstarter), while the Signed Deluxe Figure gets you all of that, plus Larry’s signature on a special edition Larry Hama metal card. You can also add-on single Larry Hama figures to your pledge.

With a goal of only $6,000 to produce this figure, we’re confident more Larry fans like us will pitch in for the most fitting tribute we could think of. This will give us a chance to honor the man who made action figures more than just articulated plastic, and have him personally hang out with our collections, old and new.

It goes without saying that the Larry Hama A Real American Creator Kickstarter Campaign from Fresh Monkey Fiction and Remco has become an instant hit with fans, as the campaign funded in mere hours. The campaign is now at $19,794, blowing it’s funding level out of $6,000 right out of the water 3 times over. Because of the overwhelming show of support, Fresh Monkey has decided to add a Stretch Goal to the campaign!

Once it hits $25,000.00, contributors at the deluxe level or higher will receive this awesome “Hama’s Grape Soda” brand sticker! What a fitting add on to this campaign. I’m sure we’ll be hitting this goal soon! What are your thoughts on this stretch goal? Sound off after the break!

The time is finally here, everyone! Late last November, we brought you word of an upcoming Kickstarter Campaign for an exclusive Larry Hama action figure from Fresh Monkey Fiction and Remco.

We’re pleased to announce that the Larry Hama A Real American Creator Kickstarter Campaign is now live! Larry Hama has been many things: a storyteller, illustrator, rock musician, storyboard artist, actor, and the creative force behind the 1980’s leading action figure line.

One thing that Larry, one of our creative heroes, has never been–

Is an action figure.

Fresh Monkey Fiction is going to change that with the limited edition Larry Hama action figure!

  • $41 USD – At this level, not only will you get the Larry Hama action figure, but you’ll also get a Metal Trading card of Larry and a Mystery Accessory only available through the Kickstarter Campaign! (Add $14 for International)
  • $85 USD – At the top tier, you’ll get the Larry Hama action figure and Larry’s signature on your Metal Card! (Add $15 for International)

You can get additional Larry figures for $22 USD/$25 INTL each (They can only be added in at this price to existing pledges). Each figure comes carded on a bubble and is without a doubt a MUST HAVE for any collection!

Fresh Monkey Fiction, Remco (a division of ZICA Toys) and The Drawn Word are proud to announce a tribute to legendary creator Larry Hama. We will be launching a Kickstarter in January that will showcase Larry’s remarkable career and include a 1/18th scale action figure of Larry himself.

The campaign will include –

  • 2 Packaging variants, 1 standard and 1 limited to the Kickstarter
  • Signed rewards
  • Super secret accessory available only during the Kickstarter campaign

Move over, General Hawk. There’s a new leader at the head of our G.I.Joe shelves! Remember that New Figure Reveal from Fresh Monkey Fiction & Zica Toys that we mentioned yesterday? Well, that action figure is none other than the Godfather of G.I.Joe, Mr. Larry Hama!

Fresh Monkey snapped this quick pic for us from their booth at DesignerCon (Booth #1024), but we’ll have an official image for you all later on this weekend.
