Just a quick reminder for all of those who may have missed this announcement. Tons of new people have been jumping onto the G.I. Joe Classified line with the huge success of the HasLab H.I.S.S. Tank. This week during SDCC 2022 Sgt. Slaughter will be up for preorder as a Fan Channel exclusive and on Hasbro Pulse. We have not received word on when he will go live but we do have nice images of Sgt. Slaughter with his accessories and his package art.

I’ve seen a small amount of confusion over illustrator John Giang signing at the Hasbro booth for SDCC 2022. So far John is Not confirmed as the artist who will be doing the box art for the HasLab H.I.S.S. Tank. What I hope happens is that we get that confirmation at SDCC 2022. John gets my vote and he has earned it. John Giang’s art work screams G.I. Joe Classified and we could not be in better hands if he helms the box art for the HasLab H.I.S.S. Tank. There will also be a G.I. Joe poster giveaway at the Hasbro Booth presumably done by John but not confirmed.
Ron Rudat is the only artist confirmed for the box art for the Haslab project in the form of the H.I.S.S. Tactician.
Entertainment Earth will be in attendance at San Diego Comic Con 2022. They’ve updated their con page with hype for upcoming items and included are two Sgt. Slaughter pieces. On Friday, you’ll get a Sgt. Slaughter ribbon, and all days a Sgt. Slaughter pin as a free giveaway while supplies last. If you take the earlier report of there being a surprise G.I. Joe item at the Entertainment Earth booth from the Hasbro press release, and factor in that Entertainment Earth likes to have guest appearances at their booth, then there is a good chance the recently revealed Sgt. Slaughter Classified figure will be at Entertainment Earth, and maybe the Sarge himself. Time will tell, stay tuned for more details as they pop.

Update #1 Emily from the G.I. Joe team has posted up further information on obtaining a Dr. Mindbender. He will be a SDCC exclusive Thru July 24th and will then go on Hasbro Pulse after. Three times as many Dr. Mindbender were made than Zartan MOD.

Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Team has just announced new information for an upcoming G.I. Joe Classified Panel at SDCC 2012!
SDCC’s Saturday programming schedule was just posted so I am thrilled to be able to say that Lenny and I will be doing the very first GI Joe Classified in-person panel!! I’m so excited to get to start meeting fans in person 😍
I’ll also be on another panel Friday! It’s called Making Toys in a Post-COVID World: What Is the New Normal and I’m very excited to get to hang out with some amazing people from the world of toys including @mrstevie18 🥰 50% chance we somehow get distracted and start talking about Smurfs at some point!
