There’s quite a bit to update you on from our friend Kit Lau and the Acid Rain World! First, let’s talk about HK Toy Soul being held in Hong Kong from December 18th – 20th. For the first time ever, an exclusive Acid Rain “Red Face” tee shirt and Infantry tote bag will be available to those in attendance! What’s really cool is the fact that the Red Face shirts are numbered, so each recipient will have his or her own one of a kind item! Labeled AR Idle, these new pieces are hopefully the first of many Acid Rain garments to come!

In related news, Kit has also shared more pictures of the upcoming Weapons Crates that will be shipped with Acid Rain figures. As noted in the pictures, these crates are very Sigma 6-esque and can be used for more than just figure storage! These will definitely make a welcome addition to many collections.

In other news, Kit also shared images of a one-of-a-kind Laurel, molded in transparent plastic, aptly named Ghost Laurel. This piece is beyond awesome, but all indications note that this will not be a mass produced item, so enjoy the attached pictures as that may be the closest we get to this awesome “invisible” piece.

Rounding out our update is a word from Kit regarding the future of the Acid Rain World, from the current status of the Chapel Mobile Command Center, to upcoming figures in the Acid Rain line. Our good friend Kit Lau has just unveiled 3 vehicles from the Acid Rain World that he’s been working on – A heavily oxidized/Rusted out Laurel, Stronghold and ARW Jeep! Believe it or not, these pieces are all hand painted. Needless to say, they’re works of art!  Kit noted that these fully rusted versions are his handmade testings, with production testing of these items still not finished yet.  For those that will be in attendance at HK Toy Soul, keep your eyes open and your fingers crossed, as Kit plans to put this version of the ARW Jeep in blind boxes at the Show! There’s also a dark version that isn’t pictured here. Each rusted piece shares a new logo that reads “Wake up my friend” and is perfectly fitting for these rusted out giants!

In related news, Kit shared a teaser image of an Agurts Infantry soldider standing next to a piece of fabric with a really cool Acid Rain logo on it. Kit noted the following on his Facebook Page –

I am glad to start the fashion line for Acid Rain. It is just a very the beginning for the full picture, but it will start to sell some limited items at HK toy soul 2015.

Our friend and Master of the Acid Rain World, Kit Lau, has posted new images of a highly anticipated piece of armor that will soon be introduced to the  Acid Rain conflict…the Worker Laurel! Unlike the Laurel [Marine] type, the Laurel [Worker] class mech suit was designed to literally handle the “heavy lifiting” that humans can’t handle themselves.

The Laurel [Worker] comes complete with a extending shovel and room for your favorite Acid Rain Mech Pilot. We’re not yet sure if this piece will include any more gear….but c’mon, look at it! It’s awesome enough as is! In the assortment of images that we’ve collected and attached to this story, you’ll see the Laurel picking up a rather interesting piece of cargo…The new figure cases designed for Acid Rain figures! I could take the time to explain them to you, but nah, we’ll let you see them for yourself after the jump. We’re not yet sure what figures will be the first to be housed in these new cases, but I bet the Omanga Soldiers are going to look awesome in’em!

Way back in August, we brought you the Acid Rain World Story of Omanga. In the Acid Rain World, the Omanga have developed Nuclear technology to an unprecedented level. A Nuclear plant disaster contaminated half of their territory and some neighboring states. Under pressure for resources, the Omanga have become an aggressor, invading the border of Gafia.

As noted in the attached images, the Omanga Soldiers have an almost robotic look to them and will surely give Bob, the Bucks team and the rest of the Acid Rain World soldiers a run for their money! There are four different soldier types included in the images that you can check out after the jump. The Laurel’s size is quite impressive, as it’s seen towering over a Worker Laurel in one of the images. In another, you can see the Laurel being admired by a 3A figure…but let your wallet breathe a sigh a relief, as this particular item is not for sale. Whether or not it will ever be? The Laurel is the mechanized battle suit found on the battlefields of the Acid Rain World. The Laurel has many different applications – Marine, Sand, Arachne, Viking and more. This particular version, the Marine – 303 Division version includes a Driver, Shoulder Mounted Cannon and BMF hand-held Cannon.
