There’s a pair of Animal Warriors of the Kingdom Kickstarter Campaign reveals to share with you this fine Friday morning, so let’s get to it!

First up is Boon, the  Lemur Bounty Hunter! – The baddest bounty hunter for hire. A scavenger and weapons maker, this lemur prides himself on hunting down the most dangerous fugitives throughout the land. He’s never failed to catch his prey and those who know him best would say, “To Boone, ‘dead or alive’…means dead.” Create a Horrid Berserker with an extra pack-in head! The Boon add on will run you $25 each or included in the ALL IN REWARD (includes shipping)

Next up is our first look at  hard copies of Pale and Kah Lee! Needless to say, they look absolutely FANTASTIC, with impressive articulation and detailed sculpting! We can’t wait to see what the painted samples will look like!

The Animal Warriors of the Kingdom Kickstarter Campaign has revealed yet another awesome add on to the AWOK campaign – Armor and Weapon Sets!

These “ADD-ONs” will be $10 each and, as a special surprise, one set of each will be added to the “ALL-IN” contribution level!

Every “ALL-IN” backer will have the following added to their “ALL-IN” Rewards at no extra cost and every “Double Down” Backer will receive 2 of each item below at no extra cost.

What better way to start a Monday than addressing the 800-pound Gorilla in the room? Well here he is, Thane, the first 5″ Deluxe Figure reveal from the Animal Warriors of the Kingdom Kickstarter Campaign!

General Thaneder “Thane” Ruhdarous: Gorilla – Once one of Baron Kah Lee’s most decorated and respected generals, now one of his greatest adversaries. Thane rebelled against the Baron to fight for the honorable forces of Chuh Nar. His strength and wisdom lead the Chunari army to several decisive victories against the Barons Horrid Forces. Fiercely loyal to his adoptive son, Pale, Thane and Mala Ruhdarous would do anything to protect Pale from the villainous Kah Lee.

This is AWOK’s first reveal for the Deluxe sized figures and boy, does he tower over the basic figures. Coming in at just over an inch taller than Pale, Thane serves as a reminder not to mess with the young ape king.  Included are his trademark Battle Hammer, a shoulder guard, and armored plate belt. Look for more character reveals and other details on Deluxe Figures later in the campaign. $32 ADD ON (includes shipping) more details will be revealed throughout the campaign.

Wow, what a week it’s been for the Animal Warriors of the Kingdom Kickstarter Campaign! In only 5 days, the campaign has already reached 50% funding!! As such, we’re in for another treat! JasonWelcome has shared a new stretch goal reveal – Scraps the Raccoon! Who doesn’t love a Trash Panda?!

SCRAPS: Raccoon – Part of Boone’s scavenger crew. Let’s just say that a rough past makes for a ruthless mercenary. He’s good in a fight and you want him on your side, but his loyalties lay with those who can offer the most so you better be willing to pay if you want the best. Create a Grey Wolf Thug with alternate head accessory. Includes 3 weapons

The time is NOW! The Animal Warriors of the Kingdom Kickstarter Campaign is now LIVE!

Spero Studio was founded by Jason Bienvenu and Brandon Gary, inspired by the 4″ scale toy lines of the mid 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s Spero focuses on bringing back the fun and joy from these eras with high quality products featuring modern articulation and accessories!

Figure design and control art was done by Jason Bienvenu, and beautifully sculpted by Jose Fernandez and Fabiano Carlos Coelho.

The figures will be created at the same factory as Boss Fight Studios with our good friend Alex Wu acting as liaison!

ANIMAL WARRIORS OF THE KINGDOM™ Series One: will consist of Ape, Canine, and Feline warriors, including the series’ main protagonist the albino ape Pale and his vile nemesis Baron Kah Lee. Each figure features 17 points of articulation as well as weapon accessories.

THE FIGURES: are 1:18 scale figures similar to G.I. Joe, Marvel Universe, H.A.C.K.S, Marauder Task Force, Dime Novel Legends, Eagle Force Returns, and Zombie Lab figures. The figures are sculpted and colored to be faithful to the comic book source material while remaining highly detailed and having great crossover potential for lines like those mentioned above and even Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Mythic Legions!

Wow, wait until you see the latest reveals shared with us from the upcoming the Animal Warriors of The Kingdom Kickstarter Campaign. You may have already seen a pair of these on the ‘net, but the 3rd may be a welcome surprise!

If you’re not familiar with AWOK, here’s the Prologue:

As Humanity stretched out its grasp amongst the stars, enormous colony Arks spread across the small cornerof the galaxy in which Earth lies. These Arks would seek out new worlds for our descendants to inhabit, and craft them to our needs. The Ark sent to a small star listed only as Gliese 667-C had a catastrophe en route and all the Human genetic stock was lost. Confused by its injuries but still determined, the Ship’s A.I continued on its course to the small new planetoid, made planetfall, and began terraforming.

As the moment came to populate the world with Humans, the damaged A.I. was conflicted how to fulfill its mission to spread Humanity and the lack of viable Human gene stock; and instead forced the evolution of its animal gene stock to create new lifeforms unknown to Biology back on Earth.

It has been centuries since then; and the newborn sentient animals were entirely incapable of ascertaining the truth of their creation, and thus the re-discovery of the Ark presents Baron Kah Lee insurmountable powers to seek out his destiny as Ruler of all the Animal Warriors of the Kingdom! Only the young Ape King Pale with his mysterious new powers can defeat such a threat.

Now here’s the scoop on today’s reveals!

  • CAPTAIN BRUTUS & THE HORRID KNIGHTS – Feral Mandrill soldiers meant to overwhelm and decimate rival armies; what they lack in fighting skill they make up for with sheer numbers and unhinged savagery! Create the Horrid Knights with alternate head accessory.
  • HORRID ASSASSINS – Only slightly less vile than the mandrills these chimps are deadly with a bow but can wield a blade when in a bind. These apes rain hate down on opposing armies as the city gates give way to the steady push of the horrid!

But that’s not all, folks! We’re also treated to a 2nd wave release – Feast your eyes on TOXIOUS! This skunk is his own one animal army, his noxious stench can incapacitate almost anyone; and if his fowl odor doesn’t defeat you, his formidable fighting skills will!
